Cooking Point is a cooking school devoted to showing Spanish food and wine good features to Madrid visitors through hands-on cooking classes, all of them performed in our exclusive premises located in the center of Madrid.
In our classes, participants prepare in small pairs their own meal, which is enjoyed at the end of the class. All cooking is done under the guidance of our experienced local chef. Instructions are in English and no cooking experience is required. Recipes are provided at the end of the class.

Better than we hoped! Learned about local customs around food and drink, great instruction, food turned out fantastic, met other interesting travelers and best of all our teacher/hostess Lilly was so welcoming, warm and patient.
Thanks to Laura and Angel for a wonderful cooking experience. We went there with a group of 21 work colleagues as a networking event and everybody had so much fun and enjoyed the class. Laura and Angel were very knowledgeable and entertaining, and some of our colleagues got into a Paella-competition, so much fun! Muchas gracias!!!!!!!!!!!
This class was SO WORTH IT! Lilly did a great job, and her english was impeccable. We made A TON of food, and got to enjoy eating it too! The Sangria was delicious and we learned so much about Spain, Spanish food, and cooking in general. I would definitely do this again, and honestly I want to do one of these in like every city now. It was such a cool way to spend an evening. And we got to meet new friends!
My wife took this class. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Went to a local market for tips on buying seafood, olives, olive oil, chicken and produce. Then back to the kitchen to prepare sangria, gazpacho, and paella. Enjoyed interacting with the chief and and other students in the class. Given recipes to take home. Many helpful tips, together with the history and culture of the dishes. Chief has great English as well as local knowledge.
Edwardo was awesome. Very knowledgeable in the market. Class was fun and relaxed, and we ate what we made. I loved it. I would do it again.
This class was very well organised and a great way to spend our last night in Madrid. Laura was great fun, the cooking was relatively uncomplicated and we enjoyed learning about Madrid from a Madrilena. We enjoyed hearing from other travellers too. There was so much food to eat, we were offered containers for leftovers. I particularly loved the Tortilla Espanola.
A huge success and Lillie was wonderful! It was a pretty big group and she kept us on track and our Sangria glasses full. Our dishes were amazing... good thing I had a bit of a walk back to my hotel after because I ate way too much. Haha! Overall my best experience in Madrid and I highly recommend. Especially for the solo traveler looking to meet new friends.
