My name is Yves Nicolier Sandrock and I started offering social cooking experiences in 2010.
I was born in Zürich, Switzerland in 1976. In 1982, my family moved to Barcelona. I studied journalism and had a short work experience in the PR field before switching to online marketing consultancy. After 10 years, I left online marketing consultancy to focus on my passion since I was a boy: cooking.
I consider myself a “social cooker”, sharing my passion by bringing people together around the stove and making sure that people learn by doing and experimenting the techniques and secrets of the traditional Spanish and Catalan cuisine. I now offer a variety of cooking experiences including Market to Fork and Grandma's Cooking.

Excellent experience. Our grandma was actually grandpa Jorde. He was charming and so funny. The food prep and ingredients were excellent, The chicken and prawn lunch was delicious. Perfectly done.

Awesome class and evening with Yves. This class did not have the grandmother cooking experience, but was terrific. He's super accommodating to tastes and preferences and we had an incredible experience.
