Chef Aey was the nicest! Help us with all the cooking and explained everything perfectly, she is amazing and the food was delicious! Very very happy I took this class!

The guides and chefs were patient and did a lot of explaining of how Thai flavors come together - and stepped in whenever any of the guests had trouble with the techniques.

Great cooking class. Very organised, even with many individual menus in one group. Clean cooking space and clear and easy to understand instructions resulting in some yummy food to eat at the end.

We really enjoyed cooking with chef Aye. She explained all the details of the ingredients and the importance of them in order to get the original Thai flavor. Highly recommend the Bangkok Thai Cooking Academy. You start out at a wet market far from the tourist area, learn about ingredients, do all your own prep work, cook, and enjoy the fruits of your labor, all under expert guidance. The cost couldn’t be more reasonable!

We had a wonderful time learning more about the Thai spices and walking through the market. All of the dishes we got to make were delicious and the cooking was a lot of fun!!

Our instructor was great. She was very attentive, very patient, informative and safety conscious. We took a brief tour of the market where we learned about done of the key Thai ingredients. We were issued aprons and given cooking stations. Each student has his/her own wok station. We watched the instructor give a detailed demonstration of how to make the fish, then we went o our stations and made our own dishes. In this five hour glass, we made a yellow curry paste, a stir fry, a yellow curry, and a chicken and shrimp salad. We used the sticky rice which the instructor made in a demonstration for mango and sticky rice. Great class!

Teacher is very knowledgeable on nutrition and history of Thai foods, and it was so much fun and dishes are very very very delicious! Thank you!!

Chef Aye was amazing, friendly, and has great knowledge on the subject. She gives clear instructions, steps are very easy to follow. Highly recommended.

Fay the instructor was amazing , funny, full of knowledge and a lot of fun. The class was spotless clean, the whole crew was highly efficient, helpful and nice. We recommend this coocking class with all our hearts. Even my husband who never cooks, made delicious courses. The meal afterward was very enjoyable.

The class was lots of fun, the teachers were really helpful and explained and demonstrated everything. The meeting point is a little confusing from the description (didn't help they were a little late arriving), basically you meet on the bridge section around exit 3... either look out for someone in a red apron or (like we did) lots of other tourists looking for someone in an apron! The market tour was interesting. Also don't worry if you arrive and there are lots of people, there are multiple classrooms in the building and you get split up into groups of around 12-15.

Our teacher was fun, energetic, delightful, and thorough. She stopped at so many places in the market to explain each an every aspect of how things work, the smells, the tastes, and how they differ from other cultures. I would 1000% recommend taking this class. They’re the highest reviewed for good reason.
