Street Food Cooking Class

Food is central to Bangkok's life, but the city's best food experiences are inside the kitchen itself. 

We hold three cooking classes every day, but there are two classes (morning and afternoon) that will include a tour of the Silom market. During our market tour, we will show you how to pick the freshest quality ingredients to use in your dishes later. 

After the market tour, the cooking class will commence! You'll explore the breadth of Thailand's iconic dishes, from snacks to salads to soups. Under the expert eye of our chef, you'll be introduced to cooking techniques and the key ingredients of Thai cuisine, including vegetables, spices, and herbs. The class will be conducted in an air-conditioned cooking studio. 

Our school will make sure that you learn all the best cooking techniques and authentic recipes, so you can create the recipes back home. Join our immersive cooking class to find out how locals really eat in Thailand!

• Som Tum (Thai Papaya Salad)

• Tom Kha Gai (Spicy coconut soup with chicken)

• Massaman curry with chicken
• Mango sticky rice

Sunday

• Tom Yum Goong (Hot and sour soup with shrimp)

Programm

Morning Class (Market Tour) (8.30am-12.00pm):
8:30 am: Meet at the school in Silom.
8:40 am: Explore local market, shop for fresh ingredients, then back to cooking school.
9:15 am: Introduction to vegetables, rice, herbs. Make coconut milk and sticky rice.
10:00 am: Session 1 (soup/stir-fried) and enjoy your dish
10:30 am: Session 2 (salad) and enjoy your dish
11:00 am: Session 3 (curry) and enjoy your dish (Make curry paste from scratch)
11:30 am: Session 4 (dessert) and enjoy your dish
12:00 pm: Class ends at the cooking class.

Afternoon Class (Mango Carving - No Market Tour) (1.00pm-4.30pm):
1:00 pm: Meet at the school in Silom.
1:10 pm: Introduction to vegetables, rice, herbs. Make coconut milk and sticky rice.
2:00 pm: Session 1 (soup/stir-fried) and enjoy your dish
2:30 pm: Session 2 (salad) and enjoy your dish
3:00 pm: Session 3 (curry) and enjoy your dish (Make curry paste from scratch)
3:30 pm: Session 4 (dessert) mango carving and enjoy your dish
4:30 pm: Class ends at the cooking class.
