After meeting the professional chef in our centrally located office you will be transported directly to our beautiful private estate in the hills just above Florence where you will start to live the full Italian experience.
On arrival you will be able to appreciate the stunning views over gorgeous countryside as you taste the traditional 'fettunta' and enjoy a glass of Chianti wine whilst listening to the culture behind Italy's most famous food, pizza and gelato.
By this time you will be eager to get hands on. The professional chef will teach you the art of dough making and kneading and will give you all the inside tips in order to easily produce the same result back home where you'll be able to impress your friends and family. You'll learn about the different ways to make pizza depending on the region.
Next it will be time to get creative as you use the ingredients picked from our very own vegetable garden and choose from the many traditional toppings the Italians love. The pizza will be cooked in our wood oven to give it the traditional flavor that will make you feel proud as you sit down and enjoy your pizza with more wine or beer.
The fun continues as you then learn the special techniques to make your very own gelato. You will make creamy gelato with unique toppings/sauces and though you may always want to reproduce these same toppings the chef will make sure you have an adequate understanding in order to be able to experiment at home!
You will leave feeling satisfied, excited and with wonderful memories that you will be able to take home with you!

Additional Info - If it possible for you to reach Florence by train or bus is surely better than by car because the traffic is heavy and you have to plan well in advance in order to reach the destination in time.
For those who travel by car, "Good news! There is a brand new parking lot literally next door to our office at Via Vinegia 23R. Fares are from 5€ per hour depending on the size of your car and they are able to provide the permit to get into the historical city centre for 1€ extra."

My boyfriend and I loved this class!! I would highly recommend it if you are going to be in Florence for a couple days! The venue was beautiful and the staff was so friendly and helpful! We had a lot of fun learning how to make authentic pizza and gelato!
We stumbled across this cooking class on a google search & booked just the day before. This was our first cooking class & it did not disappoint. Massimiliano, Enrico, Tiziano and Mauro were such an amazing team, providing us with the best information required. - From collecting the ingredients to preparing the meal, to enjoying our creations. A fabulous night was had by all with many laughs, good wine & great food. Please don’t let the lack of reviews deter you from an amazing evening in Florence - you’ll miss out!!! It was definitely a highlight of our month long trip around Italy.
It is quite a compliment to this course, being in Florence and all. First of all, it was very well organized, and when the time came you were bussed to a beautiful site for the class. The instructors were fantastic, knowledgeable, creative and very funny. Hands on instruction, you were able to make delicious gelato and pizza, as promised. Did I mention the wine? They kept pouring, and the class became more and more fun! Recipes are going to be emailed, so we will be practicing and hopefully perfecting some techniques. I can recommend this course with confidence that it will be a joyous experience for all.
