Our cooking class is a true culinary experience where you will learn authentic Thai dishes and enjoy a traditional market tour. On the market tour, you will taste various vegetables and spices to cook Thai curries and more. You will be able to learn dishes from a selection of more than 150 traditional Thai dishes. The cooking school is set in a traditional Thai summer house, fully air-conditioned, and surrounded by an organic garden : herbs, vegetables, edible flowers, fruit trees.
Kindly note you'll be taught 3 dishes/pair, not 3 dishes/person. Each pair has its own teacher, a large preparation area, two professional cooking stations and tools (induction hobs, electronic scale, digital thermometer, ...).
You'll prepare 3 dishes from scratch and your cooking session will take 2 hours to 2 hours and a half, depending on your menu selection. You'll learn which substitutes you can use at home and how to preserve your ingredients. After the class, you can contact us anytime to get tips about any recipe from the cooking school's Blog. More than 130 recipes available !
*Most of the dishes have a vegan counterpart and can be prepared without gluten.

Very good cooking course! We started on the market where our teacher told us a lot about typical fruits, vegetables and other stuff that we need to cook our 3 meals, but we could also ask any other questions. When we arrived at the cooking school, everything was well prepared and we could start immediately. We learned a lot, had a great time and a delicious meal in the end!
Having done multiple cooking classes and food tours in Thailand, we were looking for a final cooking course that offered some variation to the more classical cooking classes we did before. We found it at this cooking school. Not only is the offer of dishes you can prepare huge and variated. We were also thought by an excellent guide/cook who could answer all our questions about ingredients and dishes (and we had many). In short, we had a lovely day and highly recommend this cooking class.
We would highly recommend and would consider doing it again if coming back to Koh Samui as get to choose the dishes you want to cook. All dishes cooked from scratch. Very hands on and one instructor per couple.
We had the best time! What a great group of people and a brilliantly run class! The kitchen was so clean and the knowledge of each and every one of the girls was fantastic. Our Thai cooking class was amazing. We had such a great morning visiting the market and then heading back to cook our Thai food. All the staff were so friendly and Professional and Stephanie really made the day special. The quality of the food we had was terrific and I would recommend this class to anyone.
Our family was warmly welcomed at the market even though we were a little late. The market experience with our host, Stephanie's knowledge gave us great insight into the fresh foods and spices used in Thailand, and we found explanations around their historical origins really interesting. A short walk found us being invited into Stephanie's home, kitted up with aprons, and shown to our very own preparation areas. Chef was smiling all of the time, and kept everyone busy either cutting, smashing or stirring - there was little time for idleness and huge amount of interaction, laughs and fun. We chose sticky rice and mango, jungle curry and chicken massaman - very different dishes each with diverse ingredients. Our class included another couple who prepared their own 3 dishes, and when it came time to eat our tasty treats, all 6 dishes were shared, which created the most amazing culinary experience. Wonderful class for young and old, couples and families - we'd do it again for sure!!! Thanks Stephanie and team
