The unique climate of the Almafi Coast has long been associated with delicious and simply prepared food that's abundant with flavor. Gastronomic Trekking will take you on a tour of the bountiful produce in Italy’s Sorrento Peninsula and show you how to harness its flavours in new and exciting ways. 

To begin, we’ll walk along the stunning Almafi Coast and introduce the history of the land. We will forage edible herbs, flowers and plants on the trails, hills and gardens along the way.

Once we’ve gathered our fresh ingredients, the cooking class will begin in our professional kitchen. Prepare to transform your foraged produce into a 4-course vegetarian meal, all of which are traditional Italian dishes with a modern twist.

After the cooking is complete, it’s time to sit back, relax and enjoy the food we prepared together. All dishes will be paired with delicious Italian wines from nearby vineyards.

Schedule

• 09:30: Walk along the beautiful terraced gardens of the Amalfi Coast, foraging and collecting native ingredients.
• 11:00: Cooking class with collected local produce.
• 13:30: Enjoy lunch with paired wines.
