Okonomiyaki & Wagyu Beef Bento Class with Street Walk

Hi!I’m Shirley. I was born in the states and raised in Japan. I was graduated from a culinary school in Japan and a cook license holder, Food hygiene manager, Fermented food researcher, Sake navigator, Cheese navigator. My kitchen is newly opened in a residential area in Tokyo. Fortunately, this place is surrounded by cherry blossom trees and it is beautiful in the spring time.

We are going to use a bunch of green onion to make our Okonomiyaki(Japanese savory pancake) lite and healthy. Wagyu is known as fatty and juicy beef in Japan and we can taste a tiny piece in this class. You can choose Miso soup or Clear soup

After the class on the way back to Chitosefunabashi station, we are going to stop by a shrine, a small shopping street, supermarket for free.

Menu

• Healthy Okonomiyaki: Japanese savory pancake
• Mini Wagyu beef steak
• Rolled egg
• 3 kinds of traditional home style vegi dishes
• A glass of plum wine or raw sake
• Dessert: Sweet red bean with Mochi
• Green tea

Schedule

• 10:20 am: Meet up at the Chitosefunabashi station
• 10:30 am: Arrive at the kitchen, an introduction of the class, water bottle served
• 10:40 am: Start cooking
• 12:15 pm: Time to enjoy your dish
• 1:00 pm: End of cooking session
• 1:10 pm: Free walking tour to the shrine, a small shopping street, supermarket
• 2:00 pm: Walk back to the Chitosefunabashi station, end of the class
