A proper afternoon tea is a ritual and an art form. In our Borough Market cookery school, spend the day learning how to setup and enjoy an authentic afternoon tea. Make yours from scratch, all the way from the scones to the lemon curd, with the guidance of our expert chefs.
More than just teatime, in this cooking class you’ll not only learn a few amazing pastries — you’ll learn the keys to brewing the perfect cup. From dainty finger sandwiches with unique fillings to delicate cakes and pastry, this Afternoon Tea Luxe class will have you set to host a fabulous tea party in your own home.
Menu
Please be informed that our chefs adapt the menu for each class according to the market offer and the dietary requirements of the participants. This is only a sample menu:
- Carrot and walnut cake
- Lemon drizzle cake
- Fruit scones
- Lemon curd
*Not recommended for vegans. Please advise if you have any dietary requirements or food allergies.

Confirmation
You will receive the confirmation of your booking's availability within 24 hours. Once confirmed, please present your booking reference number at the cooking school.
Cancellation
If the cancellation is made up to 1 month 5% fee is charged. If the cancellation is made within 1 month to the class to 72 hours, 10% fee is charged. If the cancellation is made within 72 hours to 24 hours, 50% fee is charged. No refund will be issued if the cancellation is made 24 hours to the class.
