Dumpling-Making Workshop & Local Market Tour

About

During this 3-4 hour dumpling-making workshop, you’ll be taken into an authentic local spice market to pick up various Chinese spices and ingredients to use in your upcoming cooking class. 

We'll then head to our cooking class, which will be carried out in a traditional Chinese-style courtyard. You’ll be treated with local tea as it is a local custom to treat friends and visitors. After that, you then will be guided to start the cooking process by a professional chef in a cosy kitchen. 

Finally, you can enjoy the dumplings with delicious fillings made by yourself, along with some beers or beverages. 

We promise you that this food tour and cooking class is really informative, hands-on and fun, and you'll return to your home country as a new dumpling master chef!

Schedule

Morning Class

• 8:00 am: Local wet market visit
• 9:00 am: Chinese tea break offered by the locals
• 9:30 am: Start the cooking class with an introduction from the chef
• 10:30 am: Try your hands on wrapping the delicate dumplings 
• 11:00 am: Prepare a simple dipping sauce to go with the dumplings 
• 11:30 am: Enjoy your delicious dumplings along with some beers or other beverage
• 12:00 pm: End of the class with a happy stomach and new knowledge about Chinese culture

Afternoon Class

• 1:30 pm: Local wet market visit
