Private Cooking and Eating in a Florentine Terrace

I will welcome you in a historic Florentine building of the Sant'Ambrogio district, a hidden gem of Florence which still retains its local feel. With Florentine art and tradition throughout my house, you will admire the majesty of Florence from our terrace, with its churches of colored marble and architecture that evokes the grandeur of Renaissance culture.

I'd like to offer bespoke gastronomic experiences; to taste traditional Italian food in good company and idyllic location with a good glass of red wine in your hands! I will introduce you to the flavors of Tuscan cuisine as we prepare this three-course lunch.

All the ingredients come from the local market around the corner, they are seasonal and often organic. We will cook together in my kitchen, more like a group of friends than a class; my goal is to make you able to cook our menu for your family/friends once you are back home! Don't worry, I will give you all the recipes at the end of our experience.

After cooking, we will seat for a yummy lunch and pleasant conversation. Depending on the time of year and weather, we will enjoy my terrace as much as possible.

Please note that it's a 3rd-floor apartment with no elevator.

Main Dishes:

• Gnudi (or Malfatti) with butter and crispy sage
• Eggplant Parmigiana (che é anche l'alternativa vegetariana al pollo)
• Chicken Cacciatora

Dessert

• Mascarpone cream (with Cantucci con Vin Santo: almonds biscuits and sweet wine)

Drink

• Red Tuscan wine to drink

• 10.30 am: I will meet you at my front door
• 10.45 am: Cooking class
• 1.15 pm: Tasting the 3 courses meal we have prepared
• 2.30 pm: End of the cooking experience
