Enjoy Living and Cooking Like a Local on Princes' Islands

The guide will meet you at the pier of the islands when you arrive. From there, you'll walk for 10 minutes to their house on top of the beautiful island.  

Upon arrival at the house, you'll start with a nice traditional Turkish breakfast. All their ingredients are from different organic farms around Turkey. The eggs are from their next-door neighbors' chickens and most of the vegetables are from their own garden. 

After breakfast, you'll go for another walk to beautiful hidden places on the island. You'll discover stunning forests and lovely small beaches. If the weather is nice, make sure to take your swimsuit with you! The sea is very calm and inviting. Whether you'll swim or not, you can always have a refreshing drink at the beach and enjoy the view. 

After the walk, you'll return to the house to cook lunch. You'll learn to transform the ingredients collected straight from mother nature to delicious local dishes. With luck, this could include wild mushrooms and asparagus from the surrounding woods. If there are children in the group, they can fly our kite because it's always nice and windy in front of our house. 

On this little island, you'll have the opportunity to sense the spirit of Istanbul's stunning nature and history.

• Cold or hot appetizers (Meze) with olive oil made with vegetables from the garden 
• Wild herbs or mushrooms from the island

Schedule

• 10:00 am: Meet at the pier 
• 10:10 am: Arrival at the house with breakfast
• 11:00 am: Tour of the island and ingredients picking 
• 12:00 pm: Back to the house for cooking class
• 2:00   pm: Eat creations on our patio
• 4:00   pm: End of tour
