Ever wanted to learn how to make your own coconut oil from scratch? This is your chance! At JAMU you have the unique opportunity to learn the traditional way to make coconut oil. Not only is the process of producing coconut oil very educational, but it's also incredibly fun to do. 

The day will start with opening fresh coconuts with traditional techniques and extract the delicious coconut meat. We'll then turn that tasty white flesh into velvety smooth oil. Coconut oil is so incredibly versatile, it can be used in cooking and as various beauty products. 

While we wait for the process to finish by itself, we'll enjoy a local dessert and a cup of coffee. Once the coconut oil is done, you can bring it home with you. For yourself or as a very unique gift from mother nature.
