Federico's kitchen is a magical place filled with smells and tastes from the traditional Italian kitchen.
Federico's knowledge has been passed down to him from the generation above him. During the class, you'll learn all the secrets to traditional Italian cooking: turn a simple egg into a real dish starting from scratch. Make a dough by hand and learn how to shape 3 different types of pasta. To complete the dish you'll make sauces to accompany the pasta, its filling, and sauces. There is no meal without a great dessert that's why we will make also my Mum's famous tiramisu following her own recipe.
After the class, you'll enjoy a locally sourced aperitivo including cold cuts, cheeses, and dishes that follow recipes that have equally been in the family for generations. The main dish will be shared in the modern and big living room. To create the perfect mood the dishes will be eaten from porcelain dishes, nice wine glasses, and candles.
The meal will be accompanied by an educational wine tasting of some of the best Italian wines. Discover the story behind each bottle, its producer and the perfect combinations with food. The tasting will selection of the best grapes of Italy; Pinot noir, Pinot Grey, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, and Lambrusco.
