Have you ever heard about "Bento"?
Bento is a box filled with various dishes which people usually bring to or buy at school and offices all over Japan. In this class, we will try the "Character BENTO" with using various vegetables and ingredients. You'll enjoy both its look and combination of flavors in a box at the same time. I will also teach how to prepare Dashi soup stock, Japanese rice and Sushi rice. Let's learn and cook a lot of dishes together!

Expert Tips
by Cat LauWhat I liked: I loved the information sheet filled with drawings and important information on Japanese food and culture that Yuca gave to us before the class started. Yuca was also a great host and served us Japanese tea when we arrived in her kitchen. We were also given a selection of sakes to drink with our meals!
What to know: Most of the cooking is done altogether as a team! We were all given different tasks to do, it was great teamwork!
Good for: Families and small group looking for a great team building experience.
How to get there: Tabata metro station. Included short taxi ride to Yuca’s house.
