Authentic Thai Cooking in a Garden with Easy and Simple Recipe

Baansansai was founded in 2012 by chef Chaiya. We offer half day course in the morning. Pick up time at 08.30 am from the hotel 15 minutes drive to Talad Samyak Sansai market to observe local market. You will be able to see many different kinds of herbs, vegetables, ingredients, and fruits. Then proceed to Baansansai cookery school and farm where you can see real organic herbs, vegetables, and fruit that we grow our self. Then you will observe around the farm and pick some fresh ingredients that you will use to prepare for your cooking. Each person will have your own cooking station.

First, you will make curry paste with use the stone mortar then make curry for the first dish. Second, will be followed by a bowl of soup. Third, a stir-fried dish and lastly, a thai dessert.

Menu A

• Curry paste and Curry: Red curry paste and red curry with chicken
• Soup: Tom Kha Kai (chicken in coconut milk)
• Stir- fired: Pad Thai (Thai fried noodle)
• Dessert: Mango with sticky rice or (optional Som Tam (Thai papaya salad) 

Menu B

• Curry paste and curry: Green curry paste and green curry with chicken
• Soup: Tom-Yam Kung (Thai hot and sour prawn)
• Stir-fired: Stir-fried chicken with cashew -nut
• Dessert: Banana in coconut milk or  (optional Som Tam Thai papaya salad)

Schedule

We operate every day

• 08:00 - 08:30 am: Pick up at your hotel
• 09:00 - 09:30 am: Local market tour
• 09:45 am: Arrive at our farm school introduction welcome drink, drinking water and snack then organic farm tour
• 10:15 am: Cooking session 1 making curry paste then making curry and tasting
• 10:45 am: Cooking session 2 making soup and tasting then break to enjoy your dish.
• 11:30 am: Cooking session 3 making stir fired and tasting
• 12:00 pm: Cooking session 4 making dessert and time to enjoy your dish.
• 1:00 pm: Then return to your hotel
