We had a great day with Saigon cooking class! The market tour was informative and interesting. The restaurant where you go to cook is gorgeous and the chef was a great teacher. All of the food was amazing! Highly recommend!
This was a magic way to spend a Sunday morning in Daigon and learn about Vietnamese cooking and preparation. Firstly we met at the early morning market and sourced the ingredients plus a little condiment shopping for ourselves. The course was well prepared and very enjoyable. No stress at all and we all prepared our meals then had the pleasure of enjoying them together. Chef Alyssa was a very good patient teacher as well as all her helpers.

All the stuff are very friendly. During the market exploring we can learn a lot about south Vietnam cooking habbit and vegetables. The cooking lesson is also good with a good chef and good kitchen!

This is a very good experience in HCMC, from the market tour in Ben Thanh Market to the cooking class in the classroom, I felt the passion from the chef who wish us to know the Vietnam Cuisine deeply rather than just cooking. The explanation and demonstration is very detail, very happy and enjoy to cook Vietnam Cuisine by myself. I think I can do it the same as the class did when I go back to my hometown.

I have taken a lot of cooking classes at home and around the world. This class ranks in the top 5 for a 1/2 day course. The chef was a good communicator and gave us many tips from her experience. I also took the market tour and it was a good start to Vietnamese cooking. I’d recommend this class if you are visiting HCMC.

The classes are always good, however, the only time I can ever take the class when traveling for work in VN is on a Sunday. The problem with this is that it is always the same class and menu. It would be great to learn other receipts, but you are structured for the same thing everyday through out the week. However, the classes are always fun and informative, and I would recommend them to anyone...
My wife and I were in Ho Chi Minh for only two days and wanted to experience local food and the local market first hand. We chose to meet the chef at the market before the class and she was very helpful in explaining how the market worked and how locals would use the market. Coming was made easier for those less experienced, and everything has a vegetarian and vegan option. Really appreciated all the insight and fun we had learning about the food. She also gives you a recipe book with the things you made to take home so you can make it again.
Booked for a group of four and we all loved it, the Market tour was informative and the cooking class was fun, interactive and ran at a good pace. All the guides and staff speak good English and are super friendly. Would highly recommend to all.

On our last day in overwhelming Ho Chi Minh City we visited the Saigon Cooking Class. First we strolled with our Flower, so the name of our guide, on the market. She was explaining us the different vegetables, herbs, fishes - later we cooked together a three course menue - i really recommend everybody to take part at this really fun and interesting expericence.
I booked a Friday morning cooking class with a market tour. The tour highlights some unique ingredients in Vietnam, though not too different from those in China, where I come from. The cooking class was held at a very nice restaurant / historic building with every ingredient and tool well prepared, so I have no worries to cook vegetarian food with others together. Chef Oanh and her colleagues are all nice and helpful! A very memorable experience. Definitely recommended. And it's cheaper to book here than from the cooking centre!

We really enjoyed our shopping/ cooking experience. Our chef was delightful and very friendly. We were very impressed by her patience and skill and the fact that everything was so well prepared.
