Sakura season special: The school is close to the Tokyo Sakura Tram(Toden Arakawa Line) station, you can take this line to the famous cherry blossom watching spot of Asukayama-Koen park to enjoy the Sakura season. The tram is the only Toden tram line left in Tokyo, bring your food box with you like the locals!
The Ramen will be served with Sakura color topping (it’s made of dried wheat gluten)!
What I liked: I loved the information sheet filled with drawings and important information on Japanese food and culture that Yuca gave to us before the class started. Yuca was also a great host and served us Japanese tea when we arrived in her kitchen. We were also given a selection of sakes to drink with our meals!
What to know: Most of the cooking is done altogether as a team! We were all given different tasks to do, it was great teamwork!
Good for: Families and small group looking for a great team building experience.
How to get there: Tabata metro station. Included short taxi ride to Yuca’s house.
Home-style Ramen & Gyoza:
The classes are vegetarian and Halal applicable.
