5-Course Persian Cooking Class

From delicate herbs and spices to nourishing stews, Persian cuisine is vibrant and totally delicious. 

Here you can cook and taste real Iranian food and experience Iranian hospitality and lifestyle in our Persian cooking classes. Our cooking classes explore the classic flavours and techniques of Persian food, and are carefully designed to be easily replicated at home.

This is a hands-on, intimate and tasty cooking experience taking place in my little garden in Shiraz, Iran. There are both indoor and outdoor kitchens which are used depending on the weather. You will learn how to set the table Persian style and we will be eating the meal at the end together.

All ingredients are available in the class and all vegetables, fruits, and herbs used in the class are organic. Recipes of dishes made in class will be emailed to you after the class. 

Menu

• 2 appetizers
• 1 main dish (bowl of mixed rice or a stew and rice)
• Tahdig (famous crusted rice at the bottom of the pot)
• 1 dessert
• Side dishes

Schedule

• 10:00 am: Transfer to the kitchen
• 10:30 am:  An introduction from chef Ava about the school, the cuisine and the ingredients
• Proceed to the kitchen area to start the food preparation and begin the hands-on cooking process
• 2:30 pm: Learn how to set the table in a beautiful Persian style
• 3:00 pm: Enjoy the wonderful traditional Persian cuisine that you made together
• 4:00 pm: Finish up with dessert and drink and enjoy the transfer service back to your accommodation
