Wine Tasting in a Sommeliers Flat

As a professional and certified wine sommelier, I'd like to invite you to my home for an intimate and interactive wine tasting. It gives me a great chance to share my perception of wine with other people.

The wine world is all about culture, passion, history, love for the land and food. To me, wine is like a living organism: it has a birth date, a growing age, a maturity age, and an old age. A wine is never equal to itself in different moments and even depending on the glass it changes continuously.

During the class I will introduce you the "Sensorial Analysis", a senses based method to know and judge a wine. You will even know about the winemaking processes and the properties of the wines presented, as well as some news about the producers.

Finally, we will taste together 3 wines coupled with some cheese, dry tomatoes, fruits, jams, focaccia and whatever useful to fully appreciate the wines.

PS. I have 3 cats in the flat, in case you are allergic!

Wine Tasting Option 1: Discovering a vinery

• 3 different and typical wines from the same producer.

Wine Tasting Option 2: Discovering a grape

• 3 wines from the same grape according to 3 different vineries.

Wine Tasting Option 3: Comparing 3 big grapes

• 3 tannic wines such as barolo, aglianico and sagrantino
• 3 aromatic wines such as sauvignon blanc, gewurztraminer and moscato
