Katsu curry, a dish of a crisp pork cutlet on a bed of silky curry and steaming hot rice is a well-loved Japanese dish enjoyed by both young and old, at restaurants and at home. The dish is becoming more and more familiar abroad, and we’d like to invite you to make Katsu curry here in Asakusa where the dish was first served in 1918, just over a century ago. We will make curry from scratch, so you can easily recreate the same flavors at home! We offer a uniquely Japanese twist to this classic curry by using a classic dashi base.
