Hello travelers!
We're an Italian family from a small village in the northern part of Rome, a land known for its organic cultures and Palombara Sabina, a wonderful medieval castle.
Our village is a 30-minute train ride away from Rome, where you'll arrive surrounded by a totally different landscape. I will provide train tickets for you from Roma Tiburtina, one of the main train stations in Rome, to Pianabella di Montelibretti, which is our meeting point.
Together, we'll walk on the tiny medieval streets up to the village until we reach our location. Our kitchen is located in an old winepress room where my great grandpa used to make the wine for the community. It's a very special place for my family and all the village itself.
We will start our food journey by tasting a special bruschetta, extra-virgin olive oil from the Silvi Sabina Sapori production (pressed within 5 hours of harvesting, with olives that are hand-picked and separated per cultivar), and local white wine directly from the barrel.
Next, our cooking session will begin! You'll learn to make classic Italian dishes from one of the best cooks in the region: an Italian mom!
Eggs, flour, tomatoes, ricotta and love: these are the main ingredients!
This experience is free for children under the age of 5. We also offer a babysitting service at an additional cost.
