Learn to make sushi from knowing how to purchase the good fish!
The sushi workshop starts with buying fish and ingredient in Toyosu Fish Market or Tsukiji Fish Market. You will learn how to procure the fresh and quality seafood during the market tour. To see a traditional technique of fish processing at a fishmonger, wandering around the lively atmosphere of the historical food market.
Then we head to the lab and meet sushi master for sushi making class. How to process and fillet the fish, to make the sushi, the platting and to present the best taste of the ingredient.
*The tour in Toyosu is only available when the market is open. We only tour Tsukiji when Toyosu is closed with the same value. Please check the market calendar from Tokyo government official site.
* Please wear clothes and shoes you don’t mind if it gets dirty. Sandals are not appropriate as the floor of the market is wet and not good condition.
