Very good cooking class with chef John who explains nice how to do the perfect pizza and Catarina who makes us the gelato world specialist . We had fun cooking all together and make our own pizza which was really good , gelato was wonderful too . Very good organization , we are really happy with this cooking class !
It’s a great way to learn how to make pizza and gelato and make friends and of course eat your masterpiece, we had a wonderful time
We really enjoyed the class. It was great fun.
John was great and entertaining. Everyone got along so well
Best meal I’ve had in Italy. Can’t wait to try recipes at home
Fantastic tour around the markets hearing about all the different variety’s of fresh produce. The hosts explain everything well and we got to be hands on throughout. Highly recommended.
It was clean, professional, and organized. I would recommend a little music and wine during all the long breaks. Since there are long break in between the process I'd also recommend ice breakers at the beginning so that the group get familiar and its not just awkward silence. Alternatively cut all the long breaks between dough, gelato, toppings, and dessert
The class is too long with stops at places that aren’t that great. It would be better to do a nice concise class starting at 10am and ending at 2pm with lunch for less money. Olio is a perfect location also but again just for beginners
We had a great time as a family learning about the foods in Italy. Our chef was knowledgeable and interesting. We visited a local coffee shop, pastry shop and olive oil shop...learning and tasting as we went. The afternoon was spent learning how to make pesto, gnocchi, eggplant parmigiana and biscotti....all from scratch!
Really enjoyed. Good company, nice small group. Class wasn't difficult, a good variety of dishes & techniques. The walk around the town was also interesting & informative.
The class was well worth the cost. I have had alot of cooking classes and this one is at the top of the list. Highly recommend and Mathew has an enormous amount of great information if you are staying in Florence for awhile. The food is incredible!!! Thank You or GRAZIE!!!
We were just the two of us, the tour and class was very fun, and it was probably our Florence highlight! Thank you so much
Best part of our weekend! It was educational, fun and tasty served with wine. Excellent teacher- thank you! Great tour around the market and we'd definitely recommend.
We had a wonderful time. Blending the wines was very enjoyable and we learned quite a bit. The dinner after the class was excellent as we had a roast pork dish as the main of a four-course meal.
Making pasta from scratch was easier than expected. Chef Matthew was a pro.....the pace was perfect!
Can’t wait to try what we learned!
Great time had by all.
This tour is for those that are physically active and can manage riding a bike up fairly significant hills. My husband and I are very active and fit and we were huffing up the hills. Wine tour was basic but Andre did a very nice job explaining the process and answered lots of questions during the tasting. Glad we did the trip so we can say we biked our way through Chianti region for a wine tour!
Since we had a smaller class the interaction was amazing with the class chef Giuseppe. He did a great job by the way! He made it fun and authentic with his expertise and teaching. The surrounding grounds were very lovely and tour of the olive groves and history was very impressive. To learn about the olive tree and it’s properties. And the work that goes into the press. We had a good group of great participants. And of course the wonderful Tuscan sunset in the countryside. We will be sure to use this same company and refer to others as well. Thank you so much again!
Great time, very educational. Nice tour of the market, and we made awesome food!
