Welcome! to my school where you can live a fantastic learning experience, cooking, tasting and having fun. It’s time to put on the apron and start cooking. Our professional kitchen setting for …
My husband and I attended a course at So Cook!, led by Sabina. She was friendly, professional and an excellent teacher. She patiently answered all of our questions and has even given additional advice by email. We specifically looked for a course that taught how to make risotto, which was explained step-by-step. First she demonstrated the recipe so that even inexperienced cooks could follow along, and then we prepared the dish by ourselves. We also made pasta by hand, as well as a delicious, easy tomato sauce. Sabina's cooking school is easily available by public transportation. We took bus 87 from the area of Piazza Navona in the center of Rome, and the ride took approximately 45 minutes. There is also a metro stop not far from the school. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is interested in authentic Italian cooking.
Sabina is an incredible teacher. Two friends and I learned how to make two different pasta doughs and loads of different shapes. The class was so much fun and we laughed a lot. It was just tricky enough to feel like you mastered a skill, but not so hard that we couldn’t go home and try it ourselves! Delicious lunch that we had made ourselves, with a very nice wine. A really fun and different way to spend a few hours in Rome and feel connected to the Italian culture. It was brilliant!
This was a great way to get to know a local! The food was amazing and she was a very patient teacher! I will have these skills for the rest of my life!!
Loved leaning how to make different types of pasta. Sabina was a fantastic teacher.
Sabina is not only a great chef and a wonderful teacher. She is also a great person kind friendly compassionate we established a great and abiding relationship instantly we will be keeping in touch for a long time
We really enjoyed the class and felt that Sabina made the class very much to our desires. Had a good day and enjoyed the flavors of the foods prepared.
The food was absolutely amazing, me and my partner both learnt so much from this class. Previously we had tried making pasta from scratched but it was a flop, and now we know not only where we went wrong but how to make the perfect dough. Thank you Sabina for teaching us how to make perfect Italian dishes!
My family and I had a wonderful experience learning how to make each dish. I appreciated how Chef Sabina explained the details of each dish and why each step or process was important. I really am looking forward to making the meals at home. Chef Sabina has a remarkable personality and she eased any nerves or apprehension with her pleasant demeanor. Thank you for the memorable day and making our stay in Italy that much better!
We were hesitant at first. Go all the way to Rome to take a cooking class? But our evening with the chef and staff and another family (there were eight of us all together) could not have been more enjoyable. We all pitched in to prepare two kinds of hand-made pasta (cavatelli and fettuccini), tomato sauce, caramelized cherry tomatoes, stuffed and fried zucchini blossoms, fried sage, Roman-style artichokes (carciofi), and tira misu, while drinking copious amounts of Prosecco and red wine. By the end of the evening we were like one big happy Italian family. They were all so gracious and entertaining. The food was the best we’ve had in Rome so far, and we learned lots of simple cooking tips that we will definitely be using at home. Truly a great experience!
