This cooking class based on tradition is a unique experience. Rather than learning how to make a standard paella, you will be able to learn about the traditional Spanish and Catalan cuisine and take that knowledge back home to share with family, friends, and guests.
Each participant will have a cutting board, an apron, and the required tools to follow grandma’s instructions. Since the grandma does not speak English, there will also be a social cook, who will translate for the grandma, help to coordinate the cooking class, and make sure that everyone is engaged in the class.
After the hands-on class, we will gather around the table to taste our creations paired with local wine and thank the grandma for having shared her recipes with a toast.
Don't miss out on learning the secrets of the traditional cuisine of Spain. Meet you in the kitchen!
The grandma of the day will propose a full menu consisting of a starter, a main dish, and a dessert.
We believe that ingredients play a crucial role in the cuisine. That’s why we use fresh and seasonal products for our cooking classes, mainly sourced at the more than 30 food markets displayed around the city of Barcelona.
