Cooking Class & Market Tour with an Experienced Peruvian Chef

Hone your cooking skills in a friendly Peruvian family atmosphere. During this cooking class, you will taste up to 10 flavors, which includes a starter and a dish that you’ll cook yourself following the recipes and tips of your experienced chef, Pía. The experience start with a visit to the market which will allow you to taste some seasonal and exotic fruits and immerse yourself in a true local market – we can assure you that you will be the only tourists! There you will buy the ingredients needed for the cooking class, from Pía’s favorite merchants. 

Menu

Get carried away by your chef in this 4-hour Peruvian cooking class. Your local chef will reveal to you her best cooking tips and show you the San Felipe market in Surquillo where you will first stop. It will be the opportunity to buy the ingredients necessary for the preparation of a delicious menu, but also to taste some exotic fruits.

Among the merchants of fruit, vegetables, and meat, you will discover the colors and flavors of a typical Peruvian market. You will then take the bus to your chef place's place to learn, step by step, to cook some of the most emblematic dishes of Peruvian gastronomy.

Although it’s very likely that you will have the chance to taste everything listed below, please note that it’s possible that the menu might slightly change depending on seasonality and product availability. But don’t worry, you won’t feel hungry at the end of this cooking class.

Monday to Saturday

• 10:20 -10:45 am: Pick up from any desired location in Miraflores, San Isidro or Barranco districts
• 11:00 am: Local market tour
• 12:00 pm: Going to the chef's apartment to start our experience
• 3:00 pm: After the class, we'll drop you off at your desired location in Miraflores, San Isidro or Barranco districts
