Long Gia is a very welcoming and friendly person! As soon as we arrived he greeted us with tea and told us his impressive story. One can really tell he puts a lot of value on his culture and the environmental wellbeing of Vietnam. Learning how to make Tofu was incredible fun! And my only problem now is where I will find proper soybeans in Europe to make this tofu again! It was the best Tofu we have ever had and that is not said lightly!!!

Long is such a great guy and very enthusiastic about Tofu and his vegan cheese (which tastes fantastic by the way), but also about life, his environment and culture! The tofu workshop was great fun and a really interesting way to spend a morning in Hoi An. Using traditional tools and techniques we ground soybeans and made tofu - this was a lot more work than I thought it would be but was really fun and rewarding when it turned out. Long and his team were fantastic and very passionate about making tofu. They also smoked tofu to make an amazing cheese and cream cheese - absolutely delicious - a must try! Would highly recommend if looking for an activity in Hoi An.
