Authentic Mexican Hands-on Cooking Class with Market Walk in Roma Norte

Immerse yourself in Mexico's extraordinary food culture and learn to cook Mexican traditional dishes that you can replicate back home. Enjoy a hands-on cooking class. 

All our recipes are meant for you to replicate in your daily menus back home.

We will conduct our cooking class in an intimate Mexican cooking studio in the eclectic Roma Norte neighborhood. Walking distance to Mercado de Medellín and Mercado Roma.

メニュー

1st course – Antojitos mexicanos with Mexican salsas. Street food appetizers (sopes) paired with 2 Mexican salsas (red molcajete sauce and green sauce).

2nd course – Squash blossom salad. Warm salad with squash blossom, cactus leaves, zucchini, pumpkin seeds topped with an orange and honey vinaigrette.  

3rd course – White mole.  White mole is a traditional dish of Mexico's central region that it is considered a celebration dish. Made with a mixture of light-colored ingredients including white pine nuts, almonds, peanuts, blonde raisins and chile guero. 

4th course – Corn bread paired with hot chocolate.

Vegan and vegetarian option available.

スケジュール

• 9:00 am: We will start your experience with a culinary market walk to one of the main markets of the Roma Norte neighborhood that is full of colors and exotic flavors, Mercado de Medellín (walking distance)
• 10:00 am: Return to your class to be welcomed with "agua fresca" while learning about the history of Mexican cuisine. 
• 10:30 am: Then we will share with you detailed explanations of recipes and ingredients to be ready to head to the kitchen for a hands-on cooking experience. 
• 12:30 pm: Afterwards, enjoy the meal you've prepared with a pairing of a mezcal tasting, Mexican craft beer or Mexican wine. 
• 1:00 pm: Finish your experience with a high note of hot chocolate and dessert.
