The Taiwanese have a long history of using traditional Chinese medicines (also known as TCM), which are believed to balance out "Yin/Yang" within the body.
In our TCM cooking class, we'll explain the theory of "Yin/Yang" and introduce you to delicious Taiwanese recipes containing popular Chinese superfoods, medicinal herbs and seasonal produce.
Many of these ingredients have become famous around the world, especially goji berries, adlay (Job's tears) and black sticky rice.
We'll cook 1 main dish, 2 side dishes and 1 soup, and 1 dessert. All dishes will be seasonal and provide balanced nutrition. Note: Vegan options available on request.
