This patch in Sholayar ranges so beautifully intertwined with lush green forest cover and sizzling silver cascades and located centrally to Cochin and Bharathapuzha. Savor a delicious breakfast. You will then move to Kodanad. It is a rural-side village flanked by the high ranges and is set near the southern banks of the Periyar River. Proceed for Malayattoor, famous for its ancient Catholic church, which is dedicated to Apostle St. Thomas. Malayattoor not only serves as a Christian pilgrim center but it's also known for its scenic beauty. Believers carrying large crosses up a hill are common sights on a voyage to the Hill Shrine at Malayattoor where people offer their pain and suffering to God, in hopes of forgiveness and peace.
Proceed to experience the villages, local markets, coconut farms, paddy cultivations, and others. The rural areas have avoided the ravages of industrialization and maintained their pristine charm. In the evening, cooking demos with the theme 'Cooking with Spices'. Stay Overnight.
