소개

Tumraitaina is a non-chemical used farm that practices self-sufficient ways of doing farm on the outskirts of Bangkok, Thailand. It is only 40 minutes away from the bustling and hustling Bangkok or 20 minutes from Suvarnabhumi airport. According to our philosophy of offering real Thai farmer experience to travelers, all travelers who visit Tumraitaina would possibly experience an authentic lifestyle of Thai farmer in this day also being able to hands-on any activity that genuinely happens at the time while their visits. What will make all travelers had another great memorable holiday with us are cooking and testing our fresh cooked foods which were called the hands-on farm-to-table. Otherwise, Tumraitaina also offered a unique way of making foods with a lot of knowledge and enjoy learning how the foods are grown until how they're cooked intensively and fun. Our edutainment farm, Tumraitaina, is available for those who looking for unique and exclusive experiences of real Thai farmer.

At the cooking class customer will get to learn how to cook Thai foods from most of the ingredients that were picked from the garden walk with our local English speaking cooking instructor in the open air farm atmosphere. Each station is provided per customer for most of the cooking dishes.

An apron is provided while cooking. Vegetarian foods are available.

Appertizer Menu:

• Som Tum/그린파파야 샐러드(Som Tum/ green papaya salad)
• Tod mun hua pri/바나나꽃 케이크(Tod mun hua pri/ Banana flower cake)

Main course:

• Pad Thai/채소와 소고기 또는 새우를 넣은 전통 쌀국수볶음(Pad Thai Boran/ authentic Thai style of stir-fried noodle with veggie and shrimp)
• Gai pad king/닭고기와 생강 볶음(Gai pad king/ stir-fried ginger with chicken)
• Tom Kha Kai/태국 허브와 닭고기를 넣은 코코넛 수프(Tom Kha Kai/ chicken in coconut soup with Thai herbs)
• Yum moo/Gai yang/구운 닭고기 또는 돼지고기 샐러드(Yum moo/Gai yang/ grilled chicken or pork salad)

Dessert menu:

• Kao tom mad/바나나 잎에 싼 찰밥과 바나나요리(Kao tom mad/ steamed sticky rice with banana in banana leaves)
• Khanom kluay/바나나케이크(Khanom kluay/Banana cake)

일정

아침 수업:

• 8:00 am: Pick up from Lad Krabang Airport-link station and then take a local taxi to Tumraitaina farm.
• 8:30 am: Arriving at Tumraitaina farm, customers will be welcome by welcome drinks and in the house. A guide will provide the information about the farm and tour details. Next, offering flowers to spirit house as our local believes to greet the actual host of the place before start touring (WaiSarn Prabhumi).
• 8:45 am: Walking around the non-chemical farm to learn about our local vegetables, spices, and herbs which are grown in our farm. Pick them fresh for cooking the dishes in our cooking lesson.
• 9:30 am: Start cooking the dishes.
• 11:00 am: Enjoy eating your own prepared dishes.
• 12:00 pm: Head back to Lad krabang airport link station.

Afternoon program:

• 1:30 pm: Pick up from Lad Krabang Airport-link station and then take a local taxi to Tumraitaina farm.
• 2:00 pm: Arriving at Tumraitaina farm, customers will be welcome by welcome drinks and in the house. A guide will provide the information about the farm and tour details. • 2:15 pm: Walking around the non-chemical farm to learn about our local vegetables, spices, and herbs which are grown in our farm. Pick them fresh for cooking the dishes in our cooking lesson.
• 3:00 pm: Start cooking the dishes.
• 4:30 pm: Enjoy eating your own prepared dishes.
• 5:30 pm: Head back to Lad krabang airport link station.
