After we booked the class we got an email asking what we'd like to make. There were many options which allowed us each to make something different and get more out of the experience. Upon arrival we were offered cold water and to relax while we waited for the other guests to arrive. There ended up being 7 people total and we had time to chat and get to know each other before we began. We shared some fresh fruit and the cooking began. The cooking stations were very well organized and each person had all of their ingredients set before them. The cooking was done in groups, based on the dish being made. While some people cooked, the rest relaxed and chatted. Chopping, seasoning and sautéing each dish up in the wok was fast paced. Afterwards you got to eat your meal while the next group went up to start preparing theirs. There were a few times where my boyfriend and I didn't get to share our creations because we had to go cook our next dish. It was a lot of food and everything was delicious. Sadly some of it went to waste as it was impossible to eat it all. Ning was very fun and was a good ring leader. We appreciated the recipe booklet and surprise gift we got to bring home. Overall it was a good social and eating experience, though the learning was somewhat cursory.
