Then you need to visit Kappabashi, the famous Kitchen Town located between Asakusa and Ueno. This is where Japanese restaurants and professional chefs buy high-quality kitchenware and cooking utensils for much less than you'd find in commercial stores. 

On this tour, our local guide will take you to the must-visit shops in the area. Expect to be greeted with an enormous array of options — including Japanese chefs' knives, handmade chopsticks, ceramic tableware, bento boxes, baking supplies, aprons, and even wasabi graters. 

Kappabashi is also known for selling sampuru (derived from the English word "samples"), which is the plastic food you often see in restaurant windows in Japan. During the tour, you'll even get the opportunity to make your own miniature tempura sampuru! You can take this home with you as a souvenir from your time in Kappabashi.
