A stop for a tasting of local flavors is the perfect break during a visit to San Gimignano. A Podere La Marronaia Sosta Alle Colonne the Tuscan style is enriched with a special focus on organic products and zero kilometers.

The tasting includes a guided trip of at least 4 wines of the vineyards of Podere la Marronaia, including two classics of the Tuscan wine tradition, Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Chianti Colli Senesi, continues with a taste 3 or more types of extra virgin olive oil and natural flavored and an accompaniment to Tuscan cheeses and assorted snacks and appetizers.

A full immersion with locals products sensitive to the quality of production and sustainability. The cheeses -sheep cheeses, fresh or aged goat and mixed milk cheeses- come from local producers and are perfect paired with wines of Podere La Marronaia from organic vineyards certified, and extra virgin Tuscan olive groves of the company of the Sienese countryside. It is an unfiltered oil that enriches the traditional Tuscan cuisine with its savory taste, a slight tickle the palate and a slightly bitter aftertaste. This oil brings to the table the suggestions of Mediterranean cuisine. The flavored oils, however, are the real delights that create new mix of Tuscan flavors to renew its board.

"Good wine and great view"

I can recommend this to everyone visiting Tuscany. When you plan your visit to San Gimignano you should book this wine tasting. You can park your car without having the trouble to find a space in the overcrowded parking areas. Enjoy the wine tasting, have an amazing view of the beautiful medieval town and have some delicious Tuscany bites to go with your wine. Before or after the wine tasting you can easily walk to the old town and enjoy the beautiful streets and buildings (the 14 towers) and feel like you’ve gone back in time several hundred years. During the wine tasting you will get nice little information of the process of the wine tasting in clear English. And it was no problem to have a vegetarian arrangement. Everything went really smooth and we’d even come back the next time to try some other wines. Apart from the experience, the communication through the cookly platform has also been very clear. Thank you so much for keeping us posted and giving other options while the booking was still pending. Glad we didn’t have to choose something else though, because it was exceptional!

"Amazing products, great family, stunning views"

We spent a lovely afternoon at Podere La Marronaia! We accidentally signed up for two classes on the same day - this tasting and a cooking class - and had the joy of spending time with this family committed to wonderful products and celebrating their local flavors and traditions. The cheeses from a local farmer were amazing, the different bruschettas unique and tasty and the olive oils popped with flavor. Since we did two events we got to taste s lot of wines and they were all wonderful - plenty to match with a hot summer day or a crisp fall afternoon. All white looking over the vineyards toward the amazing San Gimignano!
