The aim of these tours is to show people that Tra Que Vegetable Village is an authentic, timeless place which has much to offer the tourist and should be visited, advertised and popularized.

Tra Que Minty Garden is a local Vietnamese family-run business managed by Le Van Hai, known as Danny, who has more than 16 years in the hospitality industry as a Western Sous Chef and as an Executive Chef. Tra Que Minty Garden specializes in organizing farm-to-table cooking classes and farming tours.

Tour Includes:

• Pick up from the hotel
• Go by bicycle or motorbike (with driver) to the colorful market: learn about different products and ingredients used in cooking session.
• Continue to Tra Que Vegetable Village, know about the different kinds of veggies and herbs, and the history, culture and people of Tra Que.
• Work with the Chef and learn how to prepare and cook some local Vietnamese dishes.
• Enjoy self-prepared meal.
• Back to the hotel

Choose one of the following menus (Same menu for each booking):

Menu 1:

• Tam huu (special food of Tra Que village)
• Deep fried spring rolls with vegetable, shrimp and pork
• Hoi An pancakes
• Grilled fish with turmeric in banana leaf
• Steamed rice in banana leaves.
• Sauteed morning glory with garlic
• Seasonal fresh fruit

Menu 2:

• Morning glory salad
• Beef BBQ with la lot (Lot leaf)
• Hoi An rice pancakes (Banh xeo)
• Braised pork in clay pot
• Steamed rice with pandan leaves.
• Sauteed bok-choy with garlic
• Hoi An special cake 

Menu 3 (Vegetarian)

• Fresh spring rolls with tofu and mushroom
• Vegetarian spring roll
• Taro curry with coconut juice
• Vegetarian pancake with tofu and mushroom
• Steamed rice with pandan leaves.
• Stir-fried seasonal vegetable
• Seasonal fresh fruit /Hoi An special cake

Schema

Morning Session

• 9:00 am: Pick-up at the hotel.
• 9:10 am: Visit Hoi An's colorful market tour by bicycle /motorbike: Opportunity to interact with the local vendors and learn about different products and ingredients to use in the cooking session later.
• 10:00 am: Carry on with our trip to Tra Que Herb Village. Take a rest with a special welcome drink and enjoy the nice breeze from the vegetable garden. 
• 10:45 am: Cooking session: learn about the ingredients and our traditional methods of preparing and cooking 3-4 Vietnamese dishes as in menu.
• 12:00 pm: Enjoy your self-prepared meal with some more dishes cooked by Chef. 
• 1:00 pm: Back to the hotel.

Afternoon Session

• 3:00 pm: Pick-up at the hotel
• 3:10 pm: Visit Hoi An's colorful market tour by bicycle /motorbike: Opportunity to interact with the local vendors and learn about different products and ingredients to use in the cooking session later.
• 4:00 pm: Carry on with our trip to Tra Que Herb Village. Take a rest with a special welcome drink and enjoy the nice breeze from the vegetable garden.
• 4:45 pm: Cooking session: learn about the ingredients and our traditional methods of preparing and cooking 4 Vietnamese dishes as in menu.
• 6:00 pm: Enjoy your self-prepared meal with some more dishes cooked by Chef.
