Our Mt. Fuji Food tour takes place in the lovely town of Fujinomiya, just at the base of the most famous mountain in Japan. With deep clear mountain spring water- Fujinomiya is a great place for delicious food, sake, soba noodles and green tea. Get off the beaten track of the Tokyo-Kyoto corridor and discover true local Furusato(home town) spirit. 

Fujinomiya is an easy day trip from Tokyo (or an overnight visit that will give you more time to explore!) The brand new Mt Fuji World Heritage Cultural Center is our starting point to explore this special place. Hop on the super fast Shinkansen (bullet train) and discover this hidden gem! This tour features 6 specialty food stops including a hands-on sweet making the experience and a traditional set lunch.

Fujinomiya has long been a well-known Japanese travel destination as this town is at the base of one of the famous assent routes of Mt. Fuji, the most accessible route. Many mountain climbers begin their adventure at the famous shrine in the center of town. Come find out more with us. Cronograma

• 10:15 - 10:30 am: Meet up at the meeting point 
• 10:30 am: 5 local food stops at Omiya Yokocho (local food and drinking alley)
• 12:00 pm: Lunch at a local restaurant (traditional Soba and Tempura shop)
• 1:00 pm: Stroll around town including Fujisan Sengen Shrine
• 1:30 pm: End of the tour
