About

Serious cooking starts with acquiring quality cooking ingredients. To us, that means fresh local produce, that are often organic. You will need to start early to get the best produce at the market. Maybe you will see veggies that you have never seen before, and you will witness how to properly bargain Cambodian style.

With your shopping ready you will move to the restaurant and under the wings of an experienced local chef. You will start preparing your first Khmer dishes.

Best of all, at the end of the course you will get the chance to eat everything that you've cooked!

Last but not least you will leave with the recipe book of the food you have just cooked!

"Fantastic cooking class"

This Khmer cooking class was amazing! Sela and Salen are wonderful instructors and very kind. They explained many details about Khmer cuisine and how they use the fresh ingredients and spices from the market. I enjoyed the market tour and getting to see how Cambodians live on a daily basis and how they procure their food. I loved learning how to make the aromatic paste. The aromas were amazing. The pumpkin-tapioca porridge was my favorite thing to learn how to cook and eat. All of the food was delicious and the quality of instruction was very high. Sela also explained how his organic garden worked and I thought it was very interesting. I highly recommend people take this class. The experience will be unforgettable!

"Fantastic class, something different to the norm"

We really enjoyed this class. It was slightly out of town on a site that has been specifically designed to be eco friendly. The main chef didn't speak too much English but the guide was excellent so it worked well. I would recommend this class if you're looking for something a bit different as they really try to show you the true Cambodian cuisine as opposed to what restaurants sell to tourists. Go with an open mind and you'll have a great time.
