My family of 6 had a really good time! Bee and her partner are the most lovely people and they took very good care of us, clear instructions, customized dishes, clean cookware and lots of beverages. All the dishes were delicious and relatively easy to make at home yourself. She gives a lot of tips and tricks during the class. Everything during the course was well organised. Highly recommended 👌

We had such an amazing time with B! There were 4 people total in our group. In my experience, cooking classes usually have 10-15 people in them. The private experience was one of a kind and my husband and I learned so much. The food we made was some of the best we've had in Thailand. If you're in Phuket, don't miss out on this amazing cooking class.

We were having so much fun and really enjoyed the entire class and the local market visit. The chef instructor was so kind, so detailed, patience and love to share! Now we know how to cook Massaman Chicken, Spicy Chicken basil leaves, Green Curry chicken and Tom yum kung. We will come back again to learn difference dishes. Thanks a lot!

I had done a class at a different location in Phuket a few months ago and wanted to void some different recipes. Bee’s class is limited to only 4 so you can have a more bespoke experience. As it turned out I was the only participant in this class so Bee asked me what I wanted to cook - my fav eat in Phuket is crab in yellow curry powder - and Bee happily barged to this along with my request for Thai fried rice and pad see we Another unique part of this experience was the authentic home style location , outdoors with fans - a true Thai cultural experience along with the exceptional cooking knowledge Bee shared.

The teacher was friendly and explained Thai food slowly and easily. It was a good time to understand delicious Thai food.

The cooking class was a highlight of our holidays and we had so much fun 🥰. We started with a visit of the market and the teacher explained the different ingredients, which we needed for our cooking. We were allowed to taste some things 👍. Back in the open air class we prepared and cooked 4 dishes, which we had chosen before. It was so easy to do und tasted delicious 😋. Everything was cooked really fresh 👍. We can recommend this class to everybody; don‘t want to miss it ! Thanks a lot to the very warm-hearted and open-minded B!

We booked this cooking class at short notice because we had enjoyed Thai food so much during our holiday and wanted to learn how to prepare it when we were back in the UK. Despite having a very small baby and us being the only people who had booked for that day, our host B accomadated us and with her we had a lot of fun and learnt a lot in the process too! B was incredibly friendly and professional - explaining the different ingredients in Thai food and being extremely patient with a couple of culinary novices! We had a fantastic time with B (and Ben too) and would absolutely recommend this to people who want to learn more about Thai cooking in a relaxed yet enjoyable way.

After some initial delays in the pickup process I found the class well worth it. It was cheaper than many advertised on line, probably due to having to travel 15 minutes out of Patong, however the additional travel was worth it. It was less of a class and more of being involved in cooking dishes of our choice in preparation for our lunch. Our host B has a lovely quirky demeanour and an obvious great knowledge of Thai cooking, which was evident in her understanding of the various herbs and spices which we selected at our brief trip to the local market which though small, was very clean with all the fresh produce, required to prepare the food. The dishes we selected to prepare all tasted very authentic and delicious including chicken and cashew, green chicken curry, chicken with Thai basil, morning glory and the obligatory spring rolls. Nothing disappointed. B’s knowledge of Thai food was obvious as she directed our use and amounts of the herbs which give the cuisine its distinctive flavours, and the tips and directions produced results better than many of the restaurants we ate at in Patong. Make the green curry yourself. It takes time but you actually learn the ingredients and amounts used to make the paste and the cooking process involved for a beautiful green curry. Naučili sme sa vyberať čerstvé ingrediencie na trhu a neskôr v kuchyni sme sa dozvedeli veľa tajomstiev, ktoré v receptoch nenájdete. Užili sme si prípravu najchutnejších thajskýj jedál: Pad Thai, Green Curry, Tom Yum a Mango Sticky rice. Bee je veľmi milá a učí variť ako vlastná matka. Vrelo odporúčame :).

The cooking school tried very hard to pick us up. Despite the initial delay there was no stress. The shopping on the market was really interesting and we were able to try a lot. During the cooking a lot was explained and all questions were clarified. The taste of the food was delicious. We cooked very elaborately and time didn't matter, thanks for everything, gladly again. 5 Stars

This class taught by B was so much fun! It was just my friend and I so it was a very personal experience. After we were picked up, we went straight to the market to pick up the items for our meals. B taught us about different vegetables, fruits, and herbs as we were walking around and also bought us different foods from the local food carts to try. After this, we went to her home where she had a very lovely set up for the cooking class on her front patio. Everything was clean, organized, and set up nicely. We made 3 entree meals and mango sticky rice for dessert. COME HUNGRY. Seriously! We ate breakfast that morning and wish we wouldn't have. We ended up taking much of the food we cooked with us to eat for dinner. All the recipes B teaches are easy and quick to make and shouldn't be too hard to find the ingredients in your home country. She offered many suggestions of alternatives if we couldn't find an ingredient. You will love this class!

We had an amazing experience! Visiting the market with a local is quite the experience and we were able to try everything we wanted and were even allowed to try making some desserts there as well. We cooked 4 dishes of our choice and were able to take home many recipes. 10/10 would recommend.

Don’t plan something shortly afterwards, Bee (the host) Will take lots of time to learn you A lot. Her english is Very good. She picked us up at the hostel and we went to the market. We had A class of 4 people (average group), which was realy nice! We tasted A lot at the market and bought the ingredients for the dishes we chose to make. We learned, laughed and cooked A lot (even enough for next days lunch). Bee also put A lot of work in the decoration of the outside kitchen, looks stunning.

Bee was so sweet and informative! She picked us and two other people up from our hostel and then took us to a market where she had us try a bunch of different foods we would have never thought to try on our own. It was all so good. We learned a lot there and then we headed back to her very cute, instagramable place and began cooking! I’m really happy I got to take this class and feel like I got my money’s worth ten fold. I can’t wait to go home and make my friends and family the recipes we learned here! Thank you Bee!!!!

Miss B’s Thai cooking class is a must-do! She takes you through the local market as you shop for the recipe ingredients, where you get the chance to taste and smell the exotic spices and foods of Thailand! That alone is worth the price! Her cooking school is on a beautiful lanai, and you learn to prepare 4 dishes of your choosing, and she helps you find the flavor and spice level you like, and to say it’s hands-on learning is an understatement.... we squeezed the grated coconut with our hands to create the creamy coconut milk used in our recipes. B’d graciousness and explanations are wonderful, as is her English. Sign up for her class....you’ll be glad you did!

Had a fabulous half day of cooking with B. Started with a trip to a local market to select the fresh ingredients. Every seller knows her so we could try samples. Moved on to B's house for the cooking class. Very informal and professional layout with all utensils provided. Authentic Thai food cooked in traditional style. B was an amazing hostess: warm, friendly and extremely knowledgable. We cooked 4 dishes, all delicious, and would recommend the course to everyone that has an interest in cooking, especially Thai food.

The whole fun thing started with pick up by B from our resort at an agreed time, with big warm welcome and B is a humongous lady who likes to crack jokes. We headed to a fresh food market to scout some ingredients needed for cooking later on. During the market tour, we were shown some local ingredients and the whole process was lively with interactions with some locals. We got to sample some local snacks recommended and bought by B and some of them tasted heavenly and there are some which are bizarre to us. The market was not far from B’s place. The cooking class were held at the courtyard of B’s house. The cooking stations were tastefully decorated with wooden and rattan furnitures. The whole set up blends well with woven baskets and trays, beautiful ceramic wares and the vibrant colours of ingredients. The cooking class started with preparations of ingredients and we were shown the way how to prepare them before proceeded to cooking. The whole cooking process was informative, clear and fun at the same time. It is one of our highlights during Phuket trip. I would highly recommend B’s cooking class if the idea of learning to cook Thai cuisine in Phuket has ever crossed your mind.

D was super nice and friendly. She had use taste many of the food at the market and explained what the foods were. Its lots of food so come hungry! Can take pictures of the recipes after. She was able to accommodate me being vegetarian/vegan.

Started off as a half day class and ended up going nearly the whole day (this was a good thing) It was a small class but it was really enjoyable B is a very good host and teacher and knows how to impart her love for cooking.. Would revisit if i ever go back to Phuket

What a great day!! Bee is a lovely lady, who knows her stuff & teaches one how to cook thai food well. First you select what you want to cook. She doesn't choose your menu for you which was a big plus for me as there are certain thai dishes I aready know how to cook & others I wanted to learn. She is thorough & patient & both the other person cooking & myself had a suberb day firstly cooking everything & then eating it all. She never once rushed us & it was just a wonderful experience

Bee is very patients and polite. The market tour is very interesting and you can see and try different kind of food and herbs and understand more about the local culture. We are the only students in the class. She explained very detail and enthusiastic in teaching. She did not mind teaching us overtime and also teach us some skill for Food Carving and declaration. And the food is very delicious and special which you cannot experience in the restaurant outside. Transportation is provided and punctual and thus it is very convenient for tourist. The driver Ben is also very nice too~

Bee is awesome we visited the local market and bought supplies after we told bee what we wanted to cook. Then back to make magic. We loved the intimate class of us and another couple. Bee is very hands on while guiding us with the recipes. I would make the class a must fo if you want an authentic thai cooking experience. Thanks so much Bee and Ben

Everything about the class was amazing! It was a small group so we got so much one to one time with B, who was an excellent teacher! They didn’t rush anything which was very relaxing and added to the overall experience. It was truly a 5 star cooking experience.

It turns out a private class for me only in the weekdays and thanks for teacher's special arrangement for that. It is good to learn four traditional Thai dishes. Not difficult to handle and know various ingredients and cooking tips during the class.

This was such a great experience! B is absolutely lovely and really knows what she is doing! The market tour was really cool - B told us about all the local produce and let us try whatever we wanted to. B’s house is lovely and she has a really great set up for cooking. Come with an empty stomach as you will cook and eat soooo much yummy food!

When I booked the class I did not realize how far our hotel (Renaissance Resort and Spa on Mai Khao beach) was from Bee’s house (Central Phuket). The taxi’s would not pick us up. But Ben (B’s business partner) picked us up and dropped us back off. My daughter and I, along with another couple from Belgium, met Bee in the farmers market and she gave us a tour and explained many of the vegetables, meats, curries, and basic processes for cooking Thai. We then drove 4 mins to her house. Here we washed, prepped, and cooked our food. The experience was a lifetime memory. She has formal culinary training but it is her passion and love to cook and teach people that made the difference. Our class size was 4 and it was perfect. Thanks Ben and Bee. Highly recommend.

Bee is amazing! The market tour and cooking class is so personalized (went with a group of two), that we felt very close to Bee as she explained everything in detail and even had us taste foods, taste different vegetables and herbs, bought us drinks, and even helped me and my friend recover quickly from a hangover. Not to mention the cooking class was just fantastic. With out rushing we were able to learn so much from her abiut cooking techniques, the ingredients, and how to make various things from scratch! and eat everything we created. It was a phenomenal time and we left VERY full and very satisfied. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This was easily one of the highlights of our trip. We absolutely fell in love with B! The day begins with a trip to the market where B takes the time to explain to you everything about the ingredients. Followed by a full evening of cooking, laughing, and eating! We had soooo much fun. This felt like the most authentic experience thus far.

This was an amazing experience! Bee and her staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We were picked up on time from our hotel even in torrential rain, shuttled off to a market where we met Bee, and the adventure began. Bee took us through the market, pinching nibbles left and right while explaining what they were, how they were used in that cooking, and encouraging us to taste for ourselves. My advice: be adventurous! Try it all, the experience is all the better for it. Also, if she ever asks if you want the quick way or the classic way, go for the classic, especially if you're in the afternoon class (highly recommend). If you're in the afternoon, Bee will take her time to walk you through making curry paste and other Thai classics, and you may even be around till 11-12 at night, cooking and feasting all the while! Bees english is excellent, and she is a great teacher. She recognizes all cooking skills levels: I'm rather experienced, so she had me help some in the class while she paid attention to others. All in all, I would absolutely do this again. I've got photos galore from her friendly staff, I've got Bees number (urging me to stay in touch for help with thai recipes or otherwise), and I walked away with confidence and a taste for more Thai cooking. Truly a special experience! Thanks Bee, Ben, Ben's friend, and Ben's friend's lady friend!

We loved all of it - the market was fantastic especially with B's help showing us all the local produce and introducing us to herbs and fruits we didn't know existed. The cooking course was so fun and also I really felt like I learnt how to make the recipes myself and I can now go away and make them for my friends and family back in England! B was extremely friendly and helpful and an inspiration to us both!

B was a lovely host showing us around the market, helped us choose our own recipes, bought us a drink as it was a hot day. My girlfriend and I were the only ones in the class that day so we had a full private cooking experience, cooking everything (4 meals) from scratch. Thankyou for an amazing time and bonus recipe instructions. Cant wait to cook them at home.

We were very surprised about the quality. We saw the Market and bought everything fresh. We tried everything we didn‘t know. In B‘s place we cooked all together but everyone cook by themselves. It's an amazing experience. We kindly recommend it!

B was absolutely beautiful person inside and out! She took her time with us through the market and even let us try some stuff. She was very friendly and passionate about teaching us the whole time. The food was DELICIOUS. I am not a big Thai food fan, but she really changed my mind with her recipes. She wants to make sure that you really learn how to make this amazing food on your own. Take this class! If you don’t, you will regret it! Best cooking class that is well worth your time and money!

What an amazing experience. B is a great teacher with a good sence of humor and a big heart. Made some good thai dishes and were good taken care of. Interesting walk through the market. She knows her things. Recommended.

I enjoyed the class and the host. The rest of my group arrived a little late so she took me to the market a little early. There, we had an authentic Thai breakfast. It was great! Lots of detailed instruction and hands on cooking is what you should expect from this class. She even coached Felix on some knife skills techniques. I had a small window of time to get to my next excursion so I was worried about starting later and missing out. I don’t know how she did it but I went shopping, I cooked, I ate, and I made it back to my hotel in time to catch my shuttle to my next excursion. Next time I’m in Thailand I will come back and learn some more!

Bee nimmt sich wirklich sehr viel Zeit. Wir waren eine kleine Gruppe von 4 Personen und wurden pünktlich im Hotel abgeholt. Zunächst waren wir auf dem Markt und haben uns die unterschiedlichen Zutaten erklären lassen und das ein oder andere schon vor Ort probiert ;) Anschließend hat sie uns beim Kochen alles ausführlich gezeigt und erklärt. Auf Fragen wurde sehr gut eingegangen. Wir waren total begeistert und würden es jederzeit wieder buchen :) Danke Ben & Bee :)

Bee is amazing!! She is sincere, patient and pure love cooking and teaching. Attending her class feel like visiting and learning from friend instead of attending just a class. Mine was a small class with 2 persons. Bee’s brought us to the market and told us about the ingredients, not only for the menu we chose but also whatever we have seen in the market. You can feel her passion in food. This is the best cooking class experience for me. I definitely recommend Bee to anyone who want to learn Thai cuisine.

The class itself only had three of us as they try to keep it small, so everyone gets a chance to cook and we are able to learn slowly and have a clearer picture by writing down our own notes and recipes. Starting out with a trip to the local market was an experience itself. You’ll pick out the freshest locally-sourced ingredients, free from MSG or additives. We learned how to make our own curry paste from scratch instead of buying pre-made ones. The home-based facility is clean and very organized. We choose 4 dishes (Pad Thai, Tom Yum Goong, Massaman Beef Curry, Green Curry) from a list to cook from. The cooking part was intense and fun. The amount of food we cooked was amazing and so delicious (even better than the restaurant outside). Our class took longer than the stated time as we made our own curry paste and the Massaman Beef Curry needs a longer time to cook, but Bee was very patient and did not rush through the dishes. She also went the extra mile to pack our last dish as we were too full to eat anymore after having three delicious dishes before. She also offered us some brown rice to bring back to our hotel so we can have it with our green curry for dinner. Bee is very energetic and bubbly. She is very knowledgeable of the Thai dishes that she taught us and also able to tell us what ingredients we can use to substitute if we can't find the same ingredient in our home country. Not forgetting to mention Ben, who drove us around and had a great conversation with us. Both of them are very friendly and genuine. These guys are superb and I'm so glad I found them. I would recommend them to anyone and you will not regret. The cooking class was the highlight of our trip to Phuket. You will have to try it yourself to experience it.

The cooking class with Bee was such an amazing experience for our second day in Phuket, from the local market tour to her house for the cooking class, she is very knowledgeable about all the ingredients we found in the market, she also introduced us to local snacks, it was very informative and fun! Then the cooking class, Bee was very patient and encouraging, we managed to cook our four dishes from scratch and we loved them!! She also told us if you cannot find the ingredients in your country what are the alternatives, which was amazing! We really enjoyed cooking with Bee, she made our day! THANK YOU BEE!

I really enjoyed the cooking class with Bee. It was one of the Highlights on my Thailand trip. We learned how to cook four dishes we chose before the course. In spite of being low budget travelers, we booked this cooking class for a rainy day here in Phuket. We had the most amazing time with Bee! At first we went to a local market and she told us all about the veggies, fruits, and spices. The cooking studio is so nice and lovely decorated. We were a group of 4 and cooked 4 meals which took us quite long so that we spend almost 6 hours with Bee! We also had a lot for taking away. So excited to try everything at home! In conclusion: it was worth every penny!

I really loved the cooking class! We cooked very tasty dishes. Something for everyone. And we also cooked every meal for me with ingredients without meat. Thank you so much! Best cooking class!

The class was very small, which I think is very good because you learn a lot that way. We were only three students and the teacher. We went shopping at the market with the teacher to buy all the ingredients for our 5 dishes. She explained the typical fruits, vegetables, and spices. After shopping, we drove to the teacher's apartment, where she set up tables, chairs, and stoves in an area in front of the house. She explained to all of us individually which ingredients are needed one after the other and how they are and must be processed. Since we were already so full after the third dish that we could not eat anything anymore, we only cooked another one and she showed us the ingredients for the fifth dish, Pad Thai, and how to prepare the sauce. The teacher is very nice and it was a lot of fun. I learned a lot.

B was perfect. I am very genuine and sincere in saying that this class was one of the three highlights of our holiday. Food was amazing, you get to choose your favourite meals to make and then B guides you thoroughly and personally taking into consideration your own personal taste and allergies. The market experience was just the beginning of an awesome, interesting, learning experience. Picked up and dropped off from our hotel by B or Ben, they take plenty of photos and the whole set up out front of the house is gorgeous and adds to the whole experience. Allow plenty of time because she doesn't hurry you. I will definitely be telling my friends to do this class with B and would come back if I return to Phuket. Everything was set up and run perfectly, warmly, in fun, passionately and it was sad to say goodbye. Thank you so so much B and Ben for a truly wonderful afternoon and evening.

Super friendly. “B”, the owner, meets you at the local market and you wander round with a fresh coconut drink and she buys the ingredients you are about to cook. We made four different dishes, my favorite was the Pad See Ew. B made us feel like part of her family and it was a thoroughly enjoyable time. Strongly recommend.

I’ve taken many cooking classes in my life - and B’s cooking class and market tour was BY FAR the best I’ve ever taken. B is personable, funny, knowledgeable and all around lovable. The market tour was fun and informative - with B shepherding you through different tasty snacks and ingredients. And the class itself provided me with tips and tricks I will surely use in my regular life. This is THE cooking class to take in Phuket. I will take it again if I ever return!

Bee's cooking class was one of the best experiences for me and my team who were in Phuket for our annual get together. Bee is passionate about cooking and food, which you could tell from the market tour and the way she brings out flavours of the freshest ingredients. Everything was perfect, this was a class where we all cooked every dish under the watchful eye of Bee and her team. I have had so many classes where you chop a lot but don't really cook. We all cooked every dish ourselves which meant we could vary to our taste and compare with Bee's expertly prepared dish. In addition she provided us with valuable information on the various fresh ingredients used in Thai cooking and the different effects on the flavors of various dishes. The cooking lesson at Bee’s Place was a great experience as her passion for teaching and sharing her knowledge of Thai cooking was evident throughout our time with her. She took her time with each dish while also allowing us the option to eat them or take them back with us( we did both). She was a gracious host who took lots of pictures, provided us refreshments and also advised us that we could contact her in the future for assistance with our own future preparation of Thai dishes as other former clients have. We want to give a special hello to Benjamin who drove us and engaged us in stimulating discussion during our time with Bee. Bee’s cooking class is highly recommended for anyone wanting an intimate Thai cooking experience with someone for who the teaching and sharing of the Thai food experience is a true passion. Both Mrs. B and Mr. Benjamin were a lot of fun and very kind! Mrs. B. provides all the elements that make an excellent cooking class. She has a true passion for food and the patient to teach others. Her kitchen setting was delightful and fun. She not only taught us the four dishes we requested, but several tips and tricks every budding chef should know. Needless to say we will be back!!

We had a nice tour at the wet market led by Bee where she brought us to different stalls and introduce us to the unique vegetables/fruits/sauces that are used to make the popular Thai dishes. During the cooking session, Bee was super attentive to us and taught us each step patiently. We learned alot from her and enjoyed our first time experience at a cooking class greatly! Highly recommend anyone to sign up for her classes, you won't regret :)

My sister and I had the most wonderful experience cooking with Bee! Bee and her partner Ben picked us up from our hotel in Kata and drove us to a local food market. As we bought ingredients for our meals, Bee was teaching us the names of local Thai vegetables and herbs. We met some of Bee's friends who owned Thai dessert carts, and Bee was kind enough to let us try a few of the local desserts. It was a wonderful experience to see where the locals go to buy their vegetables and meats for their everyday meals. After the market, Bee welcomed us into her home with delicious smoked coconut water and beautiful table arrangements that displayed all the ingredients for the dishes we made that day. Bee gave us the option to cook in traditional Thai clothing; detailed silk skirts with metal belts and tank tops. It definitely made for a full experience and we loved every minute of it. Bee definitely has an eye for detail and decorations. Her entire cooking class setup is also very beautiful. She made us feel right at home and went through each recipe step-by-step. She even provided notebooks and pencils to write down the recipes! Every meal we cooked was delicious. The pad thai we made was probably the best pad thai we had our entire stay in Thailand! I can't recommend her class enough. It was very immersive, personable, and hands on. Plus Bee and Ben are some of the sweetest people you'll meet. It was definitely one of our favorite days in Phuket.

I am so glad I decided to go with B's cooking class. She was amazing. She was obviously well knowledged about Thai cooking and she just made me feel so welcome :) the market experience and her telling me about the various fruits and vegetables was my favourite... She would just buy things and ask if I wanted to taste it to understand what it tasted like. Her English was also very good so we had a line of communication going. I recommend it to anyone coming to Thailand... I now can make the best Prawn Pad Thai :*)

I had a great cooking class. Bee and her partner Ben are lovely people and i learnt lots about Thai cooking. I never knew so many ingredients and effort went into cooking a traditional Thai curry. I need to buy a good wok when I get back to Australia.

Excellent Thai Cooking Master!! We joined Bee's Cooking class on 1 Aug. My mum and sisters who are long for learning the authentic Thai food eventually made this class happened, while we were visiting Phuket. We met Bee at the Kathu Fresh Market, where she took us around to look for fresh ingredients and introduced some Thai specified seasoning, such as tamarine and palm sugar. Bee is so knowledgeable and was able to explain whatever we picked up from the store. You could feel how experienced she is and she wanted to teach us everything, not just the four selected dishes. Back to her house, we were dressed with the nice apron. We felt like cooking at home and so relax resting at the courtyard where the stoves and all the tools were ready to start. We learned Tom Yum Kong, Pad Thai, green curry chicken and minced pork salad. First Bee showed us the ingredients and the main steps. All the ingredients were freshly prepared. I must mention here the green curry paste, which were hand made with more than 10 spices, ground with the stone grinder. The dishes we made, as Thai cooking beginners, were all surprisingly delicious. We didn't expect we could make it so nicely, thanks Bee. You are great Thai food Master. Remember to bring food container because for sure you would like to share the awesome dishes with your friends.
