Nice mix of learning about flavor profiles, techniques, and recipes. Would have liked if the class had more actual hands on work but that can be hard to manage with a clsss of 8 people.

I had a great time attending the cooking class. I applaud Ms. Coolan chef for her perfect lesson. Thank you for her caring lecture.
The instructor was very engaging and taught us the basics of Vietnamese cooking.
I really enjoyed the class it was a great experience and Long couldn’t have been kinder or any more helpful! Food Was delicious and the group worked well together, very affordable and well worth the price!
From being picked up and dropped off to eating the amazing food we cooked, it was a wonderful day. our instructor was Dah and she was very informative and a great teacher
This is one of the best cooking classes I've ever taken. Duh our chef was in gauging, informative & humorous. I learned alot I didn't know & stuffed myself because the food was so good. If I wad here longer, I'd do it again. The house where we cooked was gorgeous. A nice touch was cold beer in the fridge. We only had 4 people in our class which was perfect. Kudos to Duh & Rose's Kitchen! I'm still waiting for my recipes though....don't forget to send them!!
This was a great experience. We have been in local market and after this we started cooking. The chef was very nice and professional. This was totally a terrific experience!

The instructor (Oni) was very engaging and flexible, agreeing to add an extra dish one of us wanted to learn. The experience was very hands-on. There's nothing more boring than watching someone cook. The only reason I give it four stars is that I think they downgraded the spice/flavors of the dishes for a western palate. I definitely recommend this class and would urge you to let them know you want it done the Vietnamese way!
It was really nice. Our cook explained everything and we could get more than we want to have. Our dessert with chocolate and egg-milk was really good!
This cooking class was a very enjoyable uniquely Hanoi experience. Getting into the alleys and markets of this city is interesting enough but also to see inside a lovely house and to then learn just enough about common Vietnamese dishes makes the trip to Hanoi memorable. I will make or adapt all of the recipes and remember Vietnam each time. Thank you to the kind and gentle staff of Rose kitchen.
This is an experience that my family will treasure! Vietnam has an authentic culture and is very rich in terms of people and its resources. As a family we were able to enjoy the scenery and most of this cooking class together. This class provided us with great knowledge in terms of herbs and spices selection that we were able to take home with us. They arranged a visit to the local market wherein we saw how Viet market worked. Then we went to the Chef's kitchen. It was a mix of modern and traditional kitchen. We learned local Vietnamese cuisine like Banana flower, Pho, rice noodles and etc. I was very happy of how may dish tasted after. I was very satisfied. It tasted more delicious than other restaurants. Kudos to the chef who was very knowledgeable and experienced.
We are very delighted to have had the opportunity to participate in this interesting cooking class. It was given by a very nice lady, in a lovely house. We also enjoyed the tour to the market. I would definitely recommend this class.
First we went to the local market to get the ingredients. It was really pleasant walk and the guide showed us a lot of stuff (not only things we needed). Then we went to the kitchen. They really tried to make the atmosphere nice for everyone. The chef explained all the steps of preparing the meal and made clear WHY do we need do all of this steps. I liked it a lot.
They arranged a private vegan cooking class for us and it was awesome! Food was delicious, did everything ourselves (except for the cleaning and setting the table) and the chef was very friendly.
Our cooking instructor Duoc was amaxing. She helped us choose meals that fit our dietary requirements. She was really fun and engaging, and gave great guidance during the class. The kitchen and other stuff were great, but id recommend the class to friends because the instructor made it so much fun!
Pros: Really nice staff, chef went to the market with us, explained different ingredients and came up with menu along with us. She even bought my daughter a rain poncho b/c she had lost hers and it was raining when we went to the market! Cons: Chef was 10 minutes late to meeting point and had some communication issues when putting together menu, but we overcame them. I subtracted a star for communication, but added an extra for service so 5 stars!! We would definitely book again!
This was a wonderful experience, from the eye-popping trip to the local market, to the beautiful location of the class, to the helpful ness of the teachers and staff, to the free taxi ride home. The menu was full and the food was delicious - - better than what we had eaten in restaurants! The staff said they would email us the recipes along with additional ones for us to try, and I can't wait to receive them!
This cooking class with Rose Hanoi kitchen was truly fantastic. Our host/ chef who brought us around the markets and instructed us cooking was so lovely and helpful. The dishes we made were all delicious, and all of the other ladies working there were wonderful as well and very welcoming. Also taxi included to and from the location was a huge plus. If you're looking for a cooking class in Hanoi this is the one! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
