I learnt somethings I didn’t know about Vietnamese Cooking and also how delicious some of the foods are that I would never have tried. Mi is a lovely teacher and explained everything clearly to us, including the market tour where I learnt so much. I will definitely recommend to my friends in Australia.

The cooking class was great. I can highly recommend the course as you get a good overview about classic Vietnamese ingredients. Especially during the market tour chef My shared a lot of information what to use and how to use it. During the cooking action itself she guided us very well through the different steps, so we were able to create our tasty menu. Therefore try it and enjoy it.
Will definitely go back for more classes.

My is fantastic chef and tour guide and, with her class, she opened up a door to understand better Vietnam, its culture and its wonderful people. The class was really well organised, the food we cooked together was delicious and My put a lot of thoughts and care in every single detail of the experience. Highly recommended!!
The idea to book this particular cooking class came from a Kuala Lumpur Vlogger "So I'm Jenn". This cooking class was featured in her trip to Ho Chi Minh City so I decided to try it out. In Jenn's video the logo was featured which led me to scour the internet finding this exact company to book with. I found Chef My's class (The Vietnamese Cooking Class) on Cookly which is like a cooking class booking service similar to AirBnB for accommodations. I had messaged her via TripAdvisor and she was very responsive with pointing me in the right direction to book. Chef My is the brains behind this whole operation. I give her props for taking such risk and endeavor by starting her own cooking class on her own. Alongside her kitchen helper she hired, they operate an efficient class in a studio that holds up to 10-12 people. I got extremely lucky as I booked on a day and time where no one else booked so I got a private cooking lesson with Chef My. She promptly met me at Ben Thanh Market and we started the class/tour. She answered all my questions about the produce and live tanks as well has such a great relationship with vendors. She chooses the vendors who are friendly to her and her students. After the market tour Chef My spares no expense and taxied both of us to her studio where we start the cooking. She showed me how to cook: - Fresh spring rolls with pork, prawns, herbs and fresh rice noodles - Squid Glass Noodle Salad (changed from the original plan) - Crispy Vietnamese pancake with pork, prawns wrapped with fresh vegetables and fish sauce dipping sauce Each time we cooked, both of our stations were clean and setup for cooking. The kitchen helper was very efficient to change the stations when I was eating in the other room. There's AC and a washroom for those who are wondering. She has blackboard with what your going to be cooking and tags to her FB and IG. I admire entrepreneurs like Chef My as well as small business/local businesses like hers. Perfekte Organisation und Vorbereitung. Wir waren nur zu zweit, einer kocht häufig, der andere eher wenig. Für uns beide war der Gang über den Markt sehr informativ und nur besondere Lebensmittel wurden gekauft. Danach ging es mit dem Taxi in das Kochstudio. Hier fand sich neben der Kochbereichen (innen und außen) ein Esszimmer mit Erfrischungsgetränken und Toilette. Der Kochkurs brachte für jeden ein gelungenes, leckeres Menü. Die englischsprachige Köchin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können diesen Kurs nur empfehlen!!
