Ended up being an unexpected private class for my wife and me. The instructors were amazing and made the night even more fun. They were people we’d like to hang out with outside of the class!! The food we made was delicious, and they showed us step by step. They were also willing to answer any question we had. As a bonus, they gave us our own cookbook!!!
Cooking wasn’t was my favourite and after me and my girlfriend finished this class, we experienced differently. The tutors not only used fun and easy way to teach us how to cook Thai food but also showed us how to buy the ingredients from the market. Although wine and my girlfriend didn’t have much skills in cooking, with the help of the tutors we didn’t burn the kitchen.
Indeed an educational experience. There is no better way to describe this experience. Travelling alone can be lonely, but then i found this group through this cooking school, it made my whole stay in Thailand meaningful and insightful. I was able to immerse myself to the culture of Thailand by booking this online cooking school. They prepared a local visit to the market to pick fresh ingredients before the start of the class. They took time in explaining where it came from and how it is used. Everything was organic. I did not expect that my dish would taste so good like it was made by a professional chef. I do not cook very well but now i feel proud that i was able to create a good Thai food.
It was beyond my expectation. The market trip was interesting, hands-on, and educational. The cooking itself was well structured. We broke out into smaller groups to make a specific dish, depending on the preferences we indicated, and ate each dish right after making it. The instructors laid every step out easily, although I doubt I'd be able to remember all the steps and ingredients on my own at home a few months later so thank goodness that they send you home with a cookbook of everything that was made! The instructors were all nice, interactive, and helpful to our learning. The only thing is that the kitchen is in an area often with lots of open windows/doors and with the smell of food and light in the evening, be aware of those mosquitoes. But regardless, highly recommend! This class was so worth it and the food was so good! We were all so full by the last dish, so make sure you come with room in your stomach - don't come starving though, because you'll have to endure the market introduction then some prep and cooking before you can eat your first dish (just have a light snack beforehand).
