Organic Thai Farm Cooking by Baan Organic Garden

Baan and his wife are so nice. We drove 1/2 hours out of Chiang Mai to Baans rice fields and his wonderful garden! He explained us everything about the plants and trees and also showed us the daily life in his village! We made our own sausage and used the most products directly out of his garden! A special surprise were the skills of his wife! She´s so talented in doing handicraft out of teak wood. She made "Nagas" (Guardians of buddhism temples) for a lot of temples in Chiang Mai and we have also the possibility to try this by ourselves! We were only 2 people and Baan and his wife took care of us and we felt very welcome! Visit Baans farm!!!! You will never forget this authentic experience! 1000 times better as the commercial cooking classes in the city!
