We had a really great time at Luigi's cooking class, and we learnt a lot ! We were only 4 students (us and another couple) which was quite good to be able to listen and try to repeat the gestures. The class started with a cappuccino, then we began to work on the ragu sauce (the real Bolognese one), the tiramisu, then the two types of pasta (tagliatelle and tortellini) starting from scratch, the sage and butter sauce and finally the beef and parmegiano salad. Everything was delicious. But what was really important for us is that we had a great time (Luigi is adorable and fun), we learnt a lot (we aked many questions, about cooking and about Bologna) and we are pretty sure we will be able to do all the recipes all by ourself at home (even other ones because Luigi gave us a lot of tricks and ideas such as pumpkin tortellini or lemon or berry tiramisu). Luigi offered us a glass of sparkling Pinot Grigio while he was cleaning the place, it was good having a little pause.

We had a really nice evening learning about wonderful dishes from Bolognia and a bit about Italian culture. Highly recommended.
Great evening cooking with Luigi. He was remarkably organized, informative, knowledgeable and accommodating. He was able to easily and seamlessly incorporate a vegetarian option as part of our delicious meal. The time flew by and at the end, we had the best meal of our Italian vacation!
Luigi is very nice and knowledgeable we all went away with new info and techniques on how to make the perfect pasta!
Our tutor had an excellent knowledge of food, techniques, flavours and wine. We learnt so much about local specialties, and even more about local and Italian history, a wonderful evening with top cookery class, lots of yummy food accompanied by local wines- simply the best host👍 A big thank you from us 😊👍👍🥂
