We spent about 5 hours with Ning at her delightful outdoor cooking school at Ka-Ti. We were lucky enough to be in a small group of 3 so received very personal tuition. The day is very well organised. We were able to choose dishes that we wanted to cook for our "examination" and also cooked a starter and several other main courses. Ning speaks very good English and made the class great fun. She taught us a lot about the various herbs and spices commonly used in Thai food and then we prepared all the vegetables and spices (quite hard work at times as we ground the ingredients for the curry pastes in a huge pestle and mortar!).
