I learned to prepare several different Greek dishes, not typical ones like moussaka, where recipes abound. Check Akis was knowledgeable and creative, adding special touches like cardamom to the salad. We cooked two appetizers, one mushroom and one with feta and tomatoes; a Greek quinoa salad and a pork stew. Plus the price was fair. I left feeling satisfied on many levels.

The chef was delightful, knowledgeable, and interesting. It was hands-on and really fun. I was inspired to go home and try the recipes. I have even gone out and bought smoked paprika for one of the recipes (which I don't have at home}. I would love to take the class again when I come back to Athens. Try it! You will have a good time and learn good things to cook!
We enjoyed cooking a few different Greek dishes (and eating them of course!). Great conversation with our chef was a bonus!
I was happy my husband escorted me otherwise I´d be very scared walking the street to the restaurant.
