My name is Joungy, I am a chef with 11 years experience and I have traveled and lived abroad for 9 years (Mongolia, Brazil, Germany, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand..) and i love to meet people and teach them the secrets of Korean cooking :)
My cooking studio is in a traditional Korean house, also known as Hanok, and it is located inside a local market, which we will visit at the beginning of the class. I only host 4 people per class to have it more personal and be able to teach each of you. For private group requests I can host up to 6 people.
You will learn traditional and formal Korean food. I will teach you how to make it easier and in detail. You will cook 3 kinds of food (starter, main, dessert). After each dish that you have cooked, you will get to eat it in a traditional Korean setting. It will be a good chance to get information and recommendation from a local and meet other travelers.

Hope after you joined my experience, more interested in Korean cooking and Korean culture :) We'll begin with a visit to a local market that's not known by many tourists. We'll look at the Korean ingredients and buy vegetables, and we'll walk around so you can see what the locals buy and sell in the market. After this, we'll visit a traditional Korean house and you'll learn to cook three kinds of genuine Korean foods and to make Kimchi.( after class you will bring a small package of Kimchi what you made) This is hands-on cooking class. you will cook everything your self, so it's more fun and no need to stand to watch other people cooking.
