Hello my name is Kisshy, your cooking teacher, and I invite you to our home cooking studio where the class will take place. I speak fluently English and will share with you my extensive knowledge about Japanese cuisine and let you discover the secrets of Japanese homemade dishes. Ask any question about essences of Japanese cuisine, and then enjoy delicious dishes with fellow food lovers with whom you will take the fun-filled, educational class!

Have you heard of the word “Umami”? It’s the essence of Japanese cuisine, and, in all our Musubi classes, it’s the first thing you will learn to make in any of our classes

If you become the first group to book a class, you will be able to choose a main dish. Our instructor would do her best to customize the menu according to your preferences.

The 3-hour regular class includes one main dish, two side dishes, and miso soup with rice.

Popular Main Dishes:

Ramen
Tempura Sushi roll
Fish/chicken Nanban (deep-fried and marinated in rice vinegar, soy sauce and vegetables)
Chicken Karaage (Japanese fried chicken)

Note: If you have any dietary requirements and preferences, please make sure to let us know by writing about it on the comments section while booking. It’s important that we will be notified of your dietary restrictions well in advance of the class, as we will have to prepare your class for a specific menu and will not be able to change the class menu at the last minute.

"Awesome Experience"

One of the things we wanted to do during our Tokyo trip was to attend a cooking class. Good thing I found cookly and through this we were able to book Akiko for our ramen and gyoza cooking class. The class was great. We were able to learn a few things about Japanese cooking and the ingredients used. It was easy communicating with Akiko and she was so welcoming. The whole experience was so fun and insightful and I would recommend this to others who are interested in learning about Japanese dishes and its culture.

"Just Wow"

I love food a lot so this was the highlight of my Trip in Tokyo. The cooking class went above and beyond imaginable. It was my first time making Japanese dish on my own and I really learned a lot. Cooking authentic Japanese dish was special giving the every detail of flavors to it. Kisshy helped me prepare every dish and she was very generous to share his knowledge and passion to me and my friends. We enjoyed what we made and I really had a wonderful experience. "Perfect Class!"

Kisshy was absolutely wonderful! She was extremely qualified to be teaching a cooking class. We made 3 types of sushi (as requested), 2 delicious sides, and some very yummy miso soup. The first part of the class was learning about the different flavor a of Japan, some history of Japanese cooking and tasting the different Misos - I didn't even know there were different Misos! The place was very clean and inviting, and the experience was so much fun. We had 3 adults and 2 teens, and we all agree that it was a perfect addition to our trip and are so glad we did this!

Kisshy was a great host, professional from the first contact, keeping us well informed on meeting point, menu choices, an interesting overview of Japanese seasonings, tableware layout and of course the cooking lesson itself. Lunch was delicious too, so a success all round! Booked on a recommendation by friends and I would definitely pass on the recommendation.
