This private experience will take place at my home, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood on On Nut Road in Bangkok.
The menu will be curated by me beforehand and will showcase different regional dishes of Thailand as well as introduce guests to new dishes they haven’t tried before. We will not be cooking “basic” Thai dishes like Phad Thai, spring rolls (which aren’t even Thai), and traffic light colored curries.
There will be 5 dishes per class, with one of the dishes being served towards the beginning of class, and the rest for dinner as part of a Thai meal. Dishes will be prepared from scratch, from picking herbs to hand-pounding curry pastes.
Throughout the day, I’ll provide insight into the history of the dishes we’re cooking and maybe some related stories as well. The day will end with a full Thai meal in my dining room (including drinks - this is Thailand) where guests will feel like they’re dining in a friend’s home - because, they are.
The menu will change regularly, reflecting what’s available at the market and the different regional cuisines of Thailand. The goal remains, however, to showcase the workings of a full Thai meal, so will almost always include:

The house is tucked away down Soi 25 on On Nut Road, off On Nut BTS stop. Your best bet is to either to take a Grab to location “Phitphisarn Group" (Thai - พิชญ์พิศาล), and the house is right there (290), OR, from BTS, take a scooter, taxi, etc. to On Nut soi 25 (left-hand side). Unless you can speak Thai and can tell the driver directions, get off right at 25 (at the 7-11) and walk the rest of the way - it takes about 5 minutes. Head down soi 25 a bit and take your 3rd left, at the corner of the ugly new apartment building and at the spirit house, then your first right at the telephone booth. Head all the way down and take your last left, then the house will be ahead of you, two doors to the right of Phitphisarn building. It’s the dark gray one with the black door and red trim.
