At Duong’s, we offer you the chance to spend time with one of our renowned chefs. All our chefs are trained by Duong who is one of Vietnam’s Top Chefs. Our Chef will share with you many secrets as you are taken on a culinary journey, teaching you how the subtle blend of spices is the key element to creating the outstanding flavours that are found in some of the favorite dishes of the Hanoian people.

At Duong's Restaurant, Duong's cooking class is run by famous Top Chef Vietnam who one of Hanoi’s most creative and talented chefs. Chef Duong recently finished 3th in Top Chef Vietnam and has also been a regular on Iron Chef Vietnam.

You can choose to attend a morning or afternoon cooking class, and with over 15 dishes available to choose from, there is plenty of variety.

"Fantastic"

I loved everything about this class. I loved peter the chef, I loved the little market walk around. Peter answered all my questions about the weird and wonderful foods. I felt like I massively contributed towards cooking the meal. It was delicious! Having the recipes written down helped also, so I can replicate them at home. It was all in all amazing and I would highly recommend.

I definitely recommend this class, Rose kitchen. I joined by myself without friends but it’s a group lesson. But no worries, I met nice people and enjoyed cooking very much. The foods we made in the afternoon was really nice. It was the best foods I had in Hanoi. The cooking teacher was so kind. Very organized lesson and nice place with good foods. I want to come back to this cooking class next time again.

"A trip to remember"

Albert was amazing! He was an Iron Chef! I was picked up from my hotel then we used a cyclo and we had a short tour around the market. I got to meet the Vietnamese locals and they were all smiling and warm. I'm not a cook, but i am very interested in learning. And so, the locals were kind enough to teach me things that I do not know, and they answered my questions. We headed back to Albert's kitchen and there, along with other tourists, he demonstrated and teach us step by step process and techniques in cooking. He taught us how to cook traditional Pho, and more. Truly, i was able to feel the culture through chef Albert's teaching. After the demonstration, we were to recreate the dish hands on. It was definitely a great way to travel other than just doing sight seeing.
